Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carpinteria by IHG

Great location just a couple minutes to the beach. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We could hear some traffic at night but we turned the air on and that softened the noise. The front desk didn’t let us check in 30 min early, but that’s ok. I would go back. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfy beds & surprisingly quiet (no highway nor train noise was my main goal!)…

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff is super nice and the rooms were comfortable. I did have a problem with the washing machine not taking my quarters but the staff came to my rescue and I got my laundry done. This will be my go-to place to stay when visiting Carpinteria.

Nice clean room, helpful staff, by the freeway but not to noisy, All in all a nice one night stay before heading home.

The hotel was clean and perfectly situated for our needs. The complimentary breakfast was very good and adds to the appeal of the stay. The pool was perfect temperature for the cloudy coast weather as was the spa tub. The rooms were clean. The toiletries provided were great. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Clean room and friendly staff. Good breakfast. The room had an extra sink by the fridge and microwave but when you turn on the water it smelled like sewer gas. Could only use bathroom sink.

We’ve stayed here before and considering that they had renovations going on during our stay, they went above and beyond to accommodate their guest as best as they could and we appreciated that. Breakfast is always the best there’s something for everyone. FAMILY FRIENDLY.

The room was clean. It contained a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker. The bed was comfortable. A continental breakfast was provided. We did not use the pool or fitness room or any other amenity. The hotel was full for some reason and there was work being done re-paving and re-striping half of the parking lot. Because of this were unable to find a parking space after we returned from getting something to eat. We talked to the desk guy, and he had another staff member go around and find us a spot to park. The staff deserves a big pat on the back for being so accommodating.

This is a good location within 5 minutes of the beach. The room had space enough for our family of 5 and was comfortable. I would recommend this location for families who want quiet. They were in the middle of refurbishing some rooms however it didn't disturb us. It just took up a few parking stalls.

The breakfast was good and the lady that checked us in was nice. The room was adequate, but for the amount we paid for 2 rooms, a hot shower was expected.

Always stay here when in Carp. Not fancy, but decent. Quiet. Clean, good beds. Breakfast is mediocre and unappetizing.

Only issue is that the walls are thin you can hear everything in the hallway like it’s in your room.But overall a solid place to stay.

Coffee maker was not working…

Decent property. Good location. Cleanliness need work.

We had our two canine companions with us and our room was perfect complete with discreet spill resistant flooring. There is also a great outside lawn area which was met with their approval.
