Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel

This hotel says they are pet friendly but does not have any area designated for pets to potty. There is only one grassy area & it was a "pet free zone"

Had to switch rooms due to AC not working well and microwave dead.Large gap at bottom of outside door large enough to let mice in.

It was great. It was quiet and I was able to sleep well. I loved the court yard by the pool. It was a great way to relax when we was done swimming.

No A/c and see communication that there was an issue. They offered a fan instead of refunds, ect.

However, the rest of the stay was awful. The room was definitely "aged", it smelled like cigarettes, there were Huge nasty stains on thr floor, there was stuff on the ceiling and walls, and there were (nasty) hairs in the bottom and side of the bathtub. Not to mention the trains that woke us up all hours of the night.

The pool was clean and the kids loved it. Breakfast was good. The problem is the carpet in the rooms and halls are smelly. It smells like an old casino. Replace carpets with laminate and that would improve things a lot.

Five stars! This Best Western was one of the highlights of our stay in Casper. It has a quaint atmosphere with a wonderful sense of history, and the customer service was outstanding from beginning to end. The complimentary shuttle was incredibly convenient and took us anywhere we wanted to go around town. Breakfast was also amazing—with actual real eggs, which was a welcome surprise! Everything about our stay felt warm, comfortable, and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Casper.

The hotel says it is smoke free but the whole place smells like it has been smoked in for a very long time. The bed was very uncomfortable. We cut our stay short. Expedia was helpful in getting our second night refunded. The front desk staff was very kind.

No room service during are 4 day stay. Bugs in the room. I will say breakfast was good.

Do not stay here if you have another option. The hotel looks nice in photos, but it's gross and smelly. We rented 2 rooms for 1 night. They smelled musty and the carpet is disgusting. This motel is in serious need of a remodel. The bathroom fixtures didn't work properly.

We did not even stay here once we got to the room and saw the condition. The photos online are not accurate. The room was disgusting. There were stains all over the carpet and it smelled terrible as well. When we asked the front desk if it was possible to at least try to get another room that might possibly be more clean, they told us they didn’t want to let us see another room and dirty it in case someone else needed the room for the night. We had travelled all day long and were ready for bed but we ended up leaving and staying at another hotel in town. I would not recommend unless you’re ok with it being dirty!

Clean and spacious room. Great breakfast. Very quiet and comfortable.
