The air conditioning is old, so it takes 15 minutes for the air to even kick on at all. The exercise room smells like straight up cat pee. SO BAD. I gagged walking in there, had to skip a workout. Everything is old and falling apart. It was an awful experience. The first room we were in the AC didn't even work and smelled like the smoke. The second room took the AC 15 minutes to kick on otherwise the room was okay. The elevator is old and rickety. Every door is old. The stairwells are not maintained. Dead bugs everywhere. The whole experience was yuck!

Parking was very good, room was good, breakfast was very good. Fitness Center was really bad, smelled horrible and the treadmill didn't work consistently. The employee was very nice about it but the combination made the room unusable.

Bed was very comfortable. Check in and very easy and efficient. Excellent location. Coffee was very good. Tv was going in and out of service. The staff was pretty good with us but a little short and she had a hard time trouble shooting with an elderly guest in front of us. We had to leave early so we couldn't experience the breakfast. Anyway you could leave some breakfast items out for guests who leave early? Especially since you don't start breakfast till 7 on weekends. Usually if we are at a hotel on weekends it's because we have to be somewhere early. Your customer has to pay for it either way, even if it's just granola bars, fruit or cold cereal, just something.

The breakfast was pretty good. The pull out couch had old blood looking stains on the mattress protector. The ceiling has obvious water damage and that made the room feel lower quality. The worst was they didn't change the sheets in between guests. Under our covers we found an old dried up contact lens, hair, and debris. We told the front desk and she said she would have a manager reach out and no one ever reached out.

This hotel has become our "go to" favorite when staying in the Cedar Falls area. Clean, comfortable rooms. Quiet. Safe area. Very friendly staff. A nice pool. Breakfast available in the mornings. Easy to find location not too far off of highway 20. Very close to gas stations.

Very friendly staff. Slight delay with computer on check-in so she upgraded our room for free. I accidentally booked this hotel instead of the Holiday Inn and Suites next door and am very glad we did. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Probably the best night sleep in a hotel I have ever had.
