Ramada by Wyndham Cedar Rapids South

This placed smelled moldy. You get what you pay for. Door wouldn’t shut all the way. I had to wrestle it closed. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut either. Area was shady. Again, if cheap is your goal, give it a whirl.

The room size was fine. But the building was in need of upgrading. Washing of the windows. Etc Large clear bags of trash out side. . Out side lawns unkepted.. cigarette butts on the ground at all doors.

Do not - just do not! This is a main stay for very inappropriate people - lots of bad behavior happening, and left unchecked by staff. No light in our bathroom and feces on walls, tub and bed.

Decent hotel for the night. Room and walkways were clean. Breakfast was simple eggs, sausage and waffles but tasted good.

We had a hot tub in our room that leaked and would not fill up. The power outlet for our TV, fridge and microwave did not work so all of those items were useless. The staff came to fix it and it broke again 5 minutes after they left.

Room smelled horrible, showerhead broke,blood on walls, no smoke detector cover or batteries, dirty bed, dirty breakfast area (tables and chairs) glass bottles shattered all over the parking lot.

doesn't meet minimum standards

Dated, but clean. I wanted to use the guest laundry, but it was out of service.

Was told there were no more rooms to offer and they were unable to return my money or discount my stay. They have a "strict policy ". I went to Walmart, bought cleaning supplies, fabreeze and odoban. Made it tolerable and we ended our trip a day early. I just couldn't take it anymore.

402 has mold and birds living in the ceiling

Staff was unavailable. I waited 45 minutes to check in because no one was at the front desk and the housekeeper could not find someone to assist.

The tub drain not working properly

We were barely talked to at the front desk, the room was dirty and stained, and when we went to check out, there was no one at the desk, so I had no way of knowing how much I was going to be charged until it hit my account. Overall just an unpleasant stay.

Property was totally rundown. Outside was falling apart in places, exercise room was disgusting. I had to clear out the beer cans to use the treadmill then noticed red and brown stains all over it. The outside entrance doors has the electric scanner turn out and doors were duct taped open. Not safe at all. My hairdryer burnt up first time I turned it on and could not get another one.

That was the most worst place in cedar rapids that I have ever been in the room had stuff still on the floor there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling like it had leaked and it looked moldy and dirty and nasty there was a ring around the bathtub and then I go to go to the pool to go swimming get in the pool and it is freezing freezing cold even though it was really nice out but this water was so cold it's like somebody dropped ice cubes in there and there are bugs flies gnats and food in the pool so no I was not too happy I even left extremely early because I was so disgusted so no I would not recommend that hotel to anybody

Bed seemed clean enough, shower was gross.
