Very comfortable bed and clean room with sofa!

No frills hotel but clean and super friendly staff

Room was clean. Good location if attending a Hawkeyes football game and want to be on the outskirts if campus.

I would rate this hotel as just okay. We checked in late in the evening & left early in the morning so it did what it was supposed to do for the <12 hours we were there. Our room was damp and had a slight urine odor, the restrooms could have been cleaner, but the bed was comfortable. Would I stay again? Maybe.

The best thing about this hotel was the friendly staff. Regardless, everything was what we needed as we were just passing through on a much longer drive, so we didn't expect luxury and were going for economy. There was a malfunctioning door and there was no small bar soap for the sink or shower, but everything else was all right. There wasn't much to the breakfast bar. My daughter had just finished a longer road trip and said this hotel was better than anything she used on her own.

Good location very friendly staff. Room was very musty. I know Iowa has had lots of humidity, so I am sure that is why. Rates were a bit high cause of the Iowa game in town.

Clean but poorly maintained property. Quality should not be in the name. Just shabby all around from the broken elevator phone to the wall paint on the door trim throughout. Lots of maintenance corners cut.

Everything was fine. There were a couple of oily handprints that looked like Housekeeping had touched a table and the bedspread with cleaner on their hands. But otherwise everything was good.

Our room was fine, particularly for just one night. I was disappointed with the breakfast, as it didn't include any eggs, meat or potatoes.

Clean, staff was nice. People need to follow the rules about non smoking. People that don’t smoke can smell can
