When moved to a second room it was still heavily infested and reeked of dog urine (visible carpet stains). The smell made my pregnant wife repeatedly ill. Staff and management were told about her pregnancy and the health risks from the beginning. We reported the problem to the front desk over 10 times. Every time we were promised traps, maintenance, or an exterminator. Nothing was ever done. We escalated to Choice Hotels corporate, requested relocation to a clean sister property, and later asked for a refund. The only offer was a two-night credit at the same hotel. They refused to refund anything. We filed formal complaints with associated departments. We also appeared on Tom Martino’s Troubleshooter. Despite all of this, no refund was provided. No one should live with cockroaches in their food, bedding, and personal items for months while being told “pest control is coming.” The conditions were a clear health failure, especially for a pregnant guest. We never got a single decent night of sleep.

Unfortunately, the property itself had a serious pest problem. The first room we were assigned had numerous cockroaches crawling on the floors and walls, becoming even more active when the lights were turned on. We immediately notified the front desk, and they apologized and moved us to another room. Sadly, the second room had the same issue. We also found evidence of bed bugs, making us uncomfortable staying at the property. After notifying the staff again, they were understanding, apologized, and processed a full refund without issue. While I appreciate how courteously the staff handled the situation, the condition of the rooms made the hotel uninhabitable for us, and we chose to stay elsewhere.

I did not stay there due to their issue with black mold. 2/3 of the floors were closed to public and the windows were all open on a 90 degree day.

Cockroaches. Bathroom door kicked in - wouldn't close. Sign posted at front door from City of Centennial Building Division stating Habitable Repairs Required limiting access to 1st floor rooms only?! Concerning but not surprising considering condition of Property. Really bad. Do not book at this Hotel.

I didn't get to stay the night I'm actually asked for a refund and have not received my refund when we got there the lady said that she did not have a reservation but I found out she did she had just submitted it early that we had not arrived. I did not like this one bit as I spent 85 Plus dollars and could not afford it. I want my refund and I believe I should have had it a while ago.

The immediate issue is the smell when you walk in the door. Boxes are piled up behind the front desk. The doors in the bathroom and in the closet couldn't close because they weren't square. This hotel is a complete mess. All the fire doors in the stairway are blocked open, and there are machinery sounds all throughout the building. This was an absolutely hideous experience. Never again.

The place was infested with bugs and the front desk didnt care or do anything about it. I called corporate asking for help with the situation and even the supervisor Nalla said she cant help you have to deal with the front desk. I emailed the VP and sent photos of the infestation and never recieved a reply. Choice hotel chain is horrible and I will never stay at another one of their properties again.

room was unkept . There is roaches in kitchen drawers as well as under the sink making it difficult to eat with any utensils as well dead roaches on top of the fridge, upper cabinets, lower cabinets randomly on the carpet the more I looked the worst it was by far the worst part I found a fentanyl pill along the floorboard of the cabinet in the kitchen. Now the first night we were we really weren’t here all that much. We pretty much slept and that was it . the bed was a little messed up. Didn’t think that was enough of a reason to make too much fuss now the second night we went and got some groceries being there was a kitchenette and that’s when we started to discover stuff as we’re putting things away, but it was fairly late in the evening and so we decided not to raise too much of a fuss at night and figured it would be more courteous to address it first thing in the morning, which is what we did around 7 o’clock they said that they would get back to me, but they never did so after waiting a while and nearing checkout time I decided to finally bring it to their attention and I didn’t go up there disrespectful or making any demands for my money back or for account credits or any of that I just simply said that I wanted to switch rooms and if thru could work with me on the rate considering I did pay for two nights. And I feel I didn’t really get my moneys worth or the experience. I was looking for he said well you should’ve said something earlier you ain’t right until it’s time for you to check out and then you wanna say something so it don’t look good that’s when I try to explain to him that we didn’t notice most of these things. The first night.wasn’t until the second that we got groceries and started putting them away did we notice?overall just really just disatisfied with my stay And their resolution to the issues

The room had roaches. I requested a new room and it also had numerous roaches on the counters and floor. We checked out immediately. Staff acted like they were not aware. Which is horrible. With that many issues they should be aware.

“The room was dirty on arrival and the bathtub was clogged basic upkeep that shouldn’t have been missed. Even more concerning: this is supposedly a non-smoking hotel, but the smell of smoke hits you throughout the entire building. Either housekeeping isn’t checking rooms between guests, or the no-smoking policy isn’t enforced at all. Would not recommend

Checking in I found out the elevator not working. Not good when I have to use a cane. Climbing one flight of stairs was okay. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and musty curtains. Everything else good.

We were not the only ones leaving because of infestation.
