Best Western Plus Champaign/Urbana Inn

The stay was ok, not great but nothing terrible either. The breakfast bar was clean and I liked the hard floors in our room over carpet.

A very wonderful place to stay in a good location. Clean, quiet, perfect for mybneeds.

Pool could been warmer.

Very nice property with lots of good amenities. It was close to shopping and restaurants as well. Staff was very helpful and it was obvious they took pride in their hotel. Would stay here again for sure!!

The staff were phenomenal! Helped me with an unexpected unique payment situation. Very accommodating and assisted me with a solution. We stay at the Best Western Plus in Champaign IL twice a year. The owner and his Team are very professional and hospitable. Good breakfasts and very clean rooms! Our group will return in May, 2027.

Everything was good except the sheets where rough and scratchy, plus they were worn thin at top and had holes. But other than that everything was about what we expect for most hotels. Clean room, clean bathroom, parking good. We have stayed in this hotel before when visiting. We are coming back in September and staying here again.

Good experience as usual, we always stay here when in the area for tractor shows. Will continue to to stay here.

I had a car breakdown and they refused to waive the reservation policy and refund the cost of the night’s stay.

We were awakened twice by the fire alarm. Evidently on the original alert the fire department came the first time and released the building. The hotel's maintenance group "worked" on the faulty sensor. It went off again in the whole building, hours later, around midnight and the entire hotel evacuated. 30 mins later the fire department had not arrived. I called the Champaign fire department and the alarm had not triggered to the City of Champaign fire department. The fireman who answered said the hotel was taking responsibility for the alarm and allowing people to come back in, which I was not comfortable with. Luckily they did show up about 5 minutes after my call and released the building. I didn't get back to sleep until 3:00am.

Overall it was a good stay. The room with pool was very hot and muggy, makes it miserable if you have kiddos to watch swim. Breakfast was decent and room was clean.

EV charger was easy to use, ask at the front desk.

Not up to Best Western standards.

Room was clean, the air conditioning was turned on, which was nice so we didn’t enter a hot room. Staff at check-in was courteous. I did not like that there was no staff at the front desk when we wanted to check-out. There was a bowl to place our room keys. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the keys, because someone could take the key and access the room. I left the keys without the sleeve that listed the room number. The breakfast was the standard fare. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked.
