Holiday Inn Chantilly - Dulles Arpt Area by IHG

They would not tell me why but refused to make me a room key and initially i accepted the excuse of the check in is at a late hour and the manager will make it tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and goes no room key everytime i wanted access to my room i had to wait in line behind people who were checking in. We came for a relaxing time at the spa a few minutes away and then ended up having to trade who stays in the room while the other goes out to grab food or drinks etc. They have a reason but would not tell me which is unacceptable. If I had the time I would have pursued reimbursement which is what several of the other customers suggested I do because people overheard each time we needed access to our room. It used to be paying a little extra for a well established hotel brand was worth it as you don’t have problems it no longer seems the case.

Very clean and kindly staffs

They said the pool was closed for maintenance but it just looked like it needed to be cleaned. We saw garbages overflowing everywhere outside the hotel and inside the hotel. Garbage even stacked up by the elevator. The room itself was cleaned and was a nice size room it was comfortable but there was only small tiny bathroom trash in our room not a normal size one to be seen. We asked for a shuttle to a near by Walmart to get food supplies for our mini fridge and we where then told the shuttle was only for the airport and where told to use the back door exit to walk to the Walmart if we wanted. We asked for a wake up call at 3:30 am so we could get up and get going for our shuttle and that never happened. We did get our shuttle to the airport. Although the man at the desk for morning check out just took our room keys and said we would get a email receipt no real close out procedures.

The room was clean. The hotel location was great The breakfast was meh. They are improving the restaurant so they moved the breakfast to a small room. Options are meh.

Location and spacious room. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low!! Pool was not open. Hallway walls need to be repainted.

The room was incredibly clean—you can tell the staff actually takes the time to deep-clean rather than just doing a quick wipe-down. There was absolutely no stale odor or chemical smell. The staff was also wonderful and incredibly helpful; my sister accidentally left her phone behind, and they made it completely hassle-free for us to retrieve it. We will definitely be back!

Breakfast was cold. At $10 it was as expected. It smelled quite bad in the room and hall ways. Both Smelled of mold and Cat urine or wet carpet. The bed was uncomfortable as well and should be changed immediately.
