DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Airport

Stayed here this week for a work trip. Staff was awesome, it was fairly clean overall but a few things stood out to me that were concerning- a large stain (something red or brown) by the door of my room, a similar colored large stain on the window curtain, and white crusty dirt (or something) on the handle of the shower. The shower also did not drain well which resulted in water pooling up to my ankles while I was showering. I could not really tell if housekeeping had been there or not, they would not make the bed or clean up anything but replaced my towels only, that might be a preference thing though. Otherwise was a fine stay, but I didn’t take advantage of any amenities as I was really only there to sleep.

I was there as a part of a conference going on for the week.

Room was clean, but you could smell weed in the hallways and outside in multiple places. Unfortunately that just seems to be the norm anywhere you go now. Room had been renovated but it was musky and warm despite the AC being on 68 when we got in there. Staff super friendly and nice though. Shower pressure was amazing!

The staff was great however the room was ran down and dirty, and had a smell of mildew. The bathroom walls had stains on them in the shower bathtub was severely stained.

This property is in disrepair. Shower heads, bathroom doors, etc need fixing. The cafeteria and transportation staff are very friendly and helpful. Front desk not so much.

The shuttle only runs every 30 minutes. The light at the restaurant flickers really bad and the service was slow. Everything else was okay.

Upon arrival the property was very impressed walking in the hotel, greeted by Ms. Jazz with a warm reception very polite and caring, knowledgeable about her job insured my stay was comfortable and informed me if I need further assistance please let her know. Ms Jazz should be commended on her job, now after staying at the Double tree in Charlotte I will make sure I will continue to use Double tree, being a combat disable retired veteran and member of the VFW Columbia SC our organization have our conferences at Double Tree ever year. That's another reason I choose the Double tree. Thank you

Staff was courteous; room was clean and comfortable; amenities were inconvenient- free coffee should be available all day rather than ending at 10am and breakfast was too expensive (should be included in room cost). However, it's a preferred stay for concert events.

Perfect for what we needed. Great location. Comfortable bed. AMAZING pillows!! Bathroom products were top shelf - Crabtree & Evelyn!! Breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good! We will definitely stay at another Doubletree hotel!

Great stay.

Expedia double booked us, so when we got to the hotel there was no room available for us. We had to find another hotel and then pay for an uber to get us there. I would never book through Expedia!! The hotel staff said it’s a recurring problem with Expedia and they had 12 double bookings on this day.

Toilet needed a little work. (Kind of sluggish) it’s not fancy but very nice and well kept. I would recommend without hesitation.

For one night stay here was very pleasant and the staff and facility were top-notch. It was a great place to park our car and ride the shuttle for our fourth July trip to DC.
