My kids and I exited the room promptly with all our luggage and went back downstairs to inform the same clerk who assigned the room. She just glared at me with an attitude, assigned another room and slammed the new key cards on the counter. There was zero accountability for her mistake and nor did she offer an apology for her oversight. Customer Service with a smile and being genuinely respectful and kind to guests who frequent your establishments typically makes a customer want to return however, after encountering this issue on our trips we will avoid this hotel because it was unacceptable. Check in time is at 1600 therefore by the time we arrived after 2100 you cannot tell me that you do not know what rooms are occupied. Assign responsibility and titles to people who actually care about what they stand for and what Hilton represents. Disappointed!!!

The hotel is excellent. The hotel staff was nice, there’s plenty of self parking. Bartenders know how to make a proper Old Fashioned, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Although the hotel was packed from hosting a church convention in their Conference Center, there was no delay or mishaps of service whatsoever. The buffet breakfast had plenty of options, including shrimp and a waffle making station. The bonus is that the hotel is minutes from the Charlotte-Douglass International Airport. We even took a stroll through the area where the hotel is located. What a pleasant and top tier visit. Hilton - Charlotte Airport sets the standard. 5/5 stars for service, cleanliness, amenities, location and parking.

Room was clean. Staff was kind. Waited over 30 minutes on the phone just asking for an earlier check in. Entire process took over 45 minutes just to find out if we could check in early or not.

The room was extremely clean and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable.
-
Great spot with 10 min drive to uptown and not far from airport. Only downfall is the $30 breakfast
-
Hotel is beautiful and our room was spacious.

Last minute booking due to cancelled flight. Old Embassy Suites building I assume based on layout of hotel…but definitely old hotel. My biggest disappointment was bed, it was hard as a rock. Very cheap, thin mattress and pillows were equally cheap. Honestly, I don’t mind an older hotel if the beds and linens are high quality….but these were not.

Nice place to stay if you are flying.

Really lovely architecture and modern, spacious rooms - great shower - staff was friendly - one server (Rebekah?) even got my 84 year old mom slippers when she joked her feet were cold, and gave me hot tea to go when I said I liked it. Main downside was breakfast ($22 for powdered eggs and pre-packaged danishes and the same kinda stuff you get other places for free), and little things like $5 water (even in the "executive suite") - seemed "nickel and dimey" to me. Enjoyable stay overall.

Beautiful property. Dinner was good.. however there was a fly inside the restaurant . Our room had damaged floor in the shower stall . And there was not a separate door for the toilet.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. However, check in took a long time. We were assigned the wrong type of room (changed with a smile), and our fridge wasn't cold enough, so they sent a maintenance person to fix it. He messed up and turned it off instead of colder. We caught it when we returned to the room after dinner ( which we had at the hotel restaurant, and was very good). We watched how he tried to adjust it and were able to turn it on and make it colder. A warning to older people: Hilton loves VERY low toilets for some strange reason, so if you have a problem with that, this might not be the place for you.
