Aloft by Marriott Charlotte Airport

The hotel was oversold even though the room appeared available on Expedia. I arrived after midnight with my two teenage children after our flight was cancelled and we needed a place to stay close to the airport. When we arrived, the only room available had one queen bed instead of two beds. The bed wasn’t big enough for three people but we didn’t have any other option as we were exhausted from all the flight delays and then cancellation. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. It was terrible.

The pool was amazing and the rooms are beautiful

I was traveling for a day-cation and wanted peace. My room was clean, and the staff were pleasant. I did jump in the pool and enjoyed that no one else was there. Just pure peace!

Honestly Aloft was very clean and delightful. I would definitely stay here again. Came here with a few of my friend and we have nothing but great things to say. Rooms were cleaned everyday after asking because they have automatic room service every other day. Staff was very friendly especially Ms. Karen. She helped me with all my questions. Brian at the bar was very understanding and friendly. I explained to him that I don’t drink much so he tried to make a few drinks for me until we found one I enjoyed.
