Hampton Inn Charlotte - University Place

Room was clean and didn't have any stale odors like you find in some places. Breakfast options were great. They have a waffle maker. Staff was friendly.

This had to be one of the worst properties that I have stayed in when it comes to a Hilton or a Hampton Inn. This particular location does not reflect what I’m accustomed to. I’ll start with the front desk staff. They were pretty nice, and I can appreciate good customer service, so kudos to them. The check-in went smoothly. There was plenty of available parking. The rooms are super outdated, so outdated that I started looking for bedbugs, and when I pulled the sheet off of the mattress, yuck. The mattress is stained like somebody peed in the bed nightly . The hotel smells of outdatedness, definitely not what I’m accustomed to when it comes down to a Hilton hotel. I was highly disappointed. Had I not been super tired from my layovers and long flights, I would have canceled and left this particular location. For the price that we paid, it is unacceptable.

The comfort of the room. The breakfast was decent. The lady at the front desk was very rude to me. The Hotel had breakfast out by 5:24. I went to grab a scone and she popped up from behind the desk and said " no breakfast is at 6. You've been here long enough to know that breakfast is at 6." She acted like we were a burden every time we asked her something as well. We asked her for more hot chocolate for the coffee bar as well. She told us the guests checking in were more important. Whereas I'm sure that is true, she didn't need to respond to us that way. She needs training in customer service for sure!!)

Breakfast was decent. The room was comfy and clean. The front desk staff. There was one woman who was extremely rude And treated us as if we were a burden. Talkes to me very rudely

For the cost, the hotel was a bit out dated! The Room was out dated and Dark!
