Great experience at the Mecklen. Everyone was extremely helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend
-
Room was clean and the staff was super kind! The only issue we ran into was at the bar. When we went to get drinks before the concert we attended Saturday, several of the signature cocktails on the menu were unavailable due to lack of ingredients. Ended up finding something but it took a while to find a drink they could make. Air-conditioning was another oddity. The unit was set very high when I got into our room (unsure if it was even on), and it took a significant amount of time to get the room to a cooler temperature. Other than that we had a great time!

Great facility and staff. I wasn’t a fan of paid parking but all in all a great experience.
-
Great hotel, very clean, nice room
-
Loved loved loved this was one of my most favorite stats with my friends
-
The staff here is fantastic. The property and the room were absolutely beautiful ! It is one of my favorite hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in with great character and design. Can’t wait come back and stay here on our next trip to Charlotte!

I’m not sure how old this property is but it looks like it’s brand new like only two years old or so. The scent that’s pumped into the hallways is so calming and such a high end touch it goes miles above and beyond paired with the plush carpet by the time you get to your room you’re so relaxed it’s time to go to sleep. And the bedrooms are so comfortable that you forget about what you have to do tomorrow. Great rooms.
-
There is literally only one thing the property could do to improve itself and that would be to have a pool added to it and nothing else. Everything is top notch there and it’s seen as soon as you pull up to the property.
-
Beautiful updated property! It was quiet and the staff was friendly! I was greeted each time I left and reentered the property. I cannot wait until my next stay!
-
Great hotel, wasn’t sure since it was a 3 star but def gave 4 star. Would stay again when I’m back in town.
-
This stay was awesome. The simplicity of the property was just what I like. The cleanliness, the decor, the restaurant, and the staff was amazing! I can’t wait to go back
-
The property/room was very nice and well maintained. It was a delay in my check in time but the young man at the front desk was great, he did his best to make the inconvenience better. I was pleased with everything he did as well as my stay.
-
The property was beautiful the decor is very tasteful and the staff *chefs kiss, exceptional! The only thing is the room did not have a microwave. Outside of that wonderful place!
-
Room was beautiful and comfortable.
-
Hotel staff were friendly at check in. A good quiet location, very clean and nicely renovated with upscale fixtures. Nice lobby and bar although we didn't use it - the space was well done!
-
Genuinely not sure why the price is expensive here. My girlfriend was stuck in the shower due to the door not open/ close properly, no microwave(anywhere in the building, so don’t bring left overs), a lukewarm fridge, no complimentary water, no pool, breakfast not included, and a daily parking fee to top it off. I always book with the Marriott family but this is by far the most under whelming experience I’ve ever had. I genuinely wanted to cancel my stay and go to the Hilton. Will never return.
-
Beautiful hotel. There was a weird sewage smell in lobby though
-
Gym was nice! Great property
-
Cool hotel. The lobby had a sewage smell which is unfortunate because the restaurant is part of the space. Bar/restaurant service was not good. Couldn’t get service and left to eat somewhere else.
-
All staff members were friendly, property/room was clean, fitness room was clean with adequate equiptment.
