Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel

Spent 1 night when our flight to NYC was canceled. We were glad to have the restaurant option as we arrived late. The airport shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes was also very much appreciated as we had to be at the airport at 5:00 am. Everyone we had contact with (front desk and restaurant) were very nice. The hotel worked out well for our situation but is generally very mediocre and best suited for an overnight while traveling through Charlotte airport.

No continental breakfast

Overall a very nice airport hotel. Convenient location, plenty of parking, and full breakfast lunch and dinner service with a bar. Nice big lobby with spacious sitting areas and a pool (looked like there used to be a hot tub or maybe it was out of service). The tv in my room was not working so not having a tv for my stay was really the only drawback.

The Lobby was clean but the rooms and hallways have this horrible smelly carpet. As soon as I walked into the room it smelled like carpet cleaner powder. They really need to update the floors and look into carpet-less options. People with allergies should not book this hotel. I was sneezing and hated the smell of the room all night. It was so bad I would have changed hotels if I hadn’t already prepaid. For a Marriott location this was unacceptable.

This hotel’s presentation in terms of its hospitality is that of a five-star hotel.

The hotel was clean, quiet and convenient. The check in staff was helpful and pleasant. The restaurant needs a better selection of food options.

Bed was great. Shower water pressure was great. Shuttle service is available. Convenient for the unexpected layover stay.

My room was nice. I only ate one time at the on-site restaurant, and the food was good. The food price covers the convenience. The only complaint was that they charged me $ 20+, and I didn't know why. I made it home and the charge was on my card. Unless they charged me $20+ for the one bottle of water that I drank?! If so, that's a bit much for one bottle of water. lol Still a nice place and quiet.

We only stayed one night but everything was great. They also let us leave our car there for the week while we travelled to Boston. So not having to deal with airport parking was a huge plus. They also had a shuttle that took us to the airport. Would definitely recommend staying here.
