Microtel Inn by Wyndham Charlotte Airport

I experienced extremely rude and unprofessional front-desk staff upon check-in, as well as a severe lack of basic customer service. Additionally, excessive noise kept me up all night, ruining the comfort of the stay. Management refused to take responsibility or resolve these issues. I am requesting escalation and a partial refund for the unacceptable service and disturbance

I Like Everything About It, There's Nothing I Don't Like.

The staff and overall accommodations were nice, would stay again. There was no counter in the bathroom and the homeless guy at 1am asking to use my room until checkout then sneaking into the secure exit wasn't cool. And the extremely basic breakfast could use more items like eggs and meat.

Room was clean. Few amenities. There was a shuttle to the airport. Biggest complaint was noise of fellow guests. Loud music, we asked to be moved so clerk moved us one floor down directly under the loud guests who thumped overhead most of night, and again at 4 a.m We got very little sleep. Will not stay at a microtel again. The breakfast bar was not open till 7 a.m. but being next to airport would think it would be open at 6. No coffee or coffeemaker in the rooms so when we got in, no coffee. Other airport shuttles were running at the airport on a schedule but not this one. Overall not a good experience. But they are cheaper. If we get stuck at the airport again, we'll gladly pay an extra $30 to get the extra services and amenities. That said, to be fair, they were clean and beds were comfortable.

Very comfortable stay. Room was small but cozy. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. AC worked great. Food available for purchase was a great bonus, as was included breakfast. Shuttle service from and to the airport was wonderful! All staff was very nice. Especially appreciated complimentary toothbrush and paste, since I had no toiletries due to missing connecting flight. I will recommend.

The carpet was filthy and the chair at the desk had so many stains on the cushion it was really gross. The tv never connected to the Wi-Fi network, so no television and the hair dryer in the bathroom didn’t work. I called down to the front desk to ask about a replacement and was told they had one but I had to come down to the desk to get it.

The bed was comfortable The towels were small and thin. We had to continue asking for more towels during our stay. Housekeeping struggled to understand us and walked into our room during the early morning hours after knocking profusely. She did not give us an opportunity to get to the door. The carpet was dirty and had marks and stains. The walls are extremely thin, and they gave us a conjoined room, which caused us to hear every conversation and sound the people next to us were making all hours of the night and early morning. We were on the second floor, and people above us were stomping and making a lot of noises. The elevator is dangerously slow. This was not a good experience at all.
