I liked the large room and the fact that there was a kitchenette in the room with cooktop, regular sized fridge, etc I understand the cleaning aspect as well as possible loss, but it would be nice to have items like a pot and pan with a lid along with a spatula in the room, or available to use.

Too many people were hanging around outside many of the door entrances. The halfway smelled very badly on the Ist floor. I paid an extra $50 for early check in just to be interrupted twice within 20 minutes by maintenance and a false smoke alarm. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the sink was clogged. Very disappointing stay after a great experience in the past at your airport location.

I was honestly disappointed in my stay. Before arriving I got a message stating I had to confirm I was coming by 1pm which I did. Upon arrival they told me that they over sold rooms and that the room I originally booked (which was a room with two beds as we had 3 people) was not available was told that we could have a room with one bed or cancel (we couldn’t cancel because we were 4 hours away and there wasn’t anywhere near where we were to get another place so we sucked it up and said we’ll do one bed. We had asked for extra sheets and pillows since we had to share a bed and they told us that they didn’t have any! When we got to the room it didn’t have a hair dryer, they blinds were really dirty, there wasn’t a hair dryer in the room and the fridge has sticky stuff on the bottom of the freezer. Also the hotel hallways smelled so bad and the floors were discussing. 3 of us slept in a double bed without any extra pillows or covers and we also tried to call the lobby to ask about the pillows and sheets but they closed at 11! I’ve never been to a place where the lobby closed and we also called the lobby number listed on the sign left but said they couldn’t help us. And also the elevator was broken so we had to use the stairs.

Extremely disappointing experience — poor customer service I had a paid reservation at WoodSpring Suites Charlotte - University Research Park. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk receptionist was extremely disappointing. I politely asked to use the restroom, but I was met with a rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming response. The way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe, and I no longer felt confident staying at the hotel. Because of this interaction, I made the decision not to proceed with my stay despite having already paid. A hotel’s staff represents the entire establishment. Even when a request cannot be accommodated due to policy, guests and customers should be treated with respect, professionalism, and basic courtesy. I hope management takes this matter seriously, reviews the conduct of the staff involved, and takes steps to ensure other guests do not experience the same treatment.

Clean facility Never received my deposit back.

Location Elevator

The Staff was very cordial and the place was clean We had no wash cloths, hand towels or bath towels or mat. No soap, no quick breakfast bar. Fortunately, I had a breakfast sandwich, we had hand towel and one bath towel in the car, it was only a overnight stay and it was only 2 hours from home. It was a basically a place to get a nights sleep, get up and go.

Frenchie was very helpful and professional. Room and location were good. Staff did not clean everyday.

I have been using expedia for decades and this is the first time I was charged a higher rate when I paid at the hotel. The rate was 20.00 higher and two managers told me tough luck once you decide to pay at check in it goes to regular rate. I will not be staying at this chain ever again.

No towels

The room had these little shards on the floor, I’m not sure if it was glass, or something else, the water also had these black little things, I’m not even sure what they were, also I don’t even know what it was but something disgusting was just there??? I’m not even sure how to describe it but I attached a picture
