Hampton Inn & Suites Charlottesville-At the University

Everything was clean, and there was a verity of food for breakfast, it was a quiet room, but the comforter we had did not have cover and when we tried to call the phone was broken. Also the parking was a little expensive. But over all it was a nice visit though.

Room was large. Enjoyed having a kitchenette and table available. Sitting area was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but satisfactory.

Close to hospital, clean, nice staff I didn’t like that I was in the same room for three nights and didn’t have maid service. I asked for and got clean towels in the hallway from a maid and took them back in the room myself the second day. When I needed to stay the 3rd night, I expected the dirty towels to be removed and new towels to be put in my room and my bed made. Nothing was done. I had to use a hand towel for a wash cloth.

Location great; very comfortable $20 per night parking was not well-communicated during the booking process, and it is too high; breakfast adequate; fruit - over-ripe bananas; size of cups for hot beverages is very small

Location, amenities and cleanliness

Clean Parking was 20.00$ a night. To me that isn’t right for guests to have to pay for something that should be provided.

Check in was wonderful. Great customer service!!! Room was clean and very comfortable. Parking was great. Breakfast was really good. Enjoyed everything about our staff!!!

Basic breakfast, serve yourself buffet style, very adequate, all that I need more variety of rolls , muffins

This was way overpriced for the facility. I understand that it was reunion’s weekend at the university, but I feel that they really price gouged you. I don’t believe they were very good business partners by increasing the price so much.. then on top of the exorbitant prices they charged for parking as well. $1500 for two nights stay was ridiculous but I did it because it was my 50th reunion. It might be reasonable at other times, but definitely not worth the price.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Clay even came up to our room to help us with the TV.

Location was excellent Coffee could use an upgrade!

Location to UVA Hospital

Excellent stay

My husband is battling cancer for the second time in 11 years. We love the care that we receive at UVA and the options that we have for treatment. What we love about this particular Hampton Inn is how convenient it is to the Cancer Center/hospital. And it is very comfortable and the staff are friendly. It is almost like taking a mini vacation in the middle of fighting cancer. And my son lives an hour closer to Charlottesville than he is from our home which makes it especially nice! ? The traffic in the area due to lots of construction (which is actually a good thing for the school and the hospital).
