I think the room was overpriced considering the room. Paid $380 for one night and that was not a $380 a night room.. wasn’t dirty or awful, just could tell the hotel hasn’t been updated in a very long time and overpriced for what you get. Hotel rooms need an update. Had been on the road for 3 weeks and stayed at multiple Airbnb’s and other hotels and most uncomfortable pillows by far. Wife also agreed. We woke up with headaches.

Breakfast didn't come with room Had to go out for before going to my appointment. Very inconvenient The floors got my white socks dirty. The carpet looked filthy. The next time I have to stay in Charlottesville Va. it will not be at that hotel.

Overpowering smell of chemical cleaning products feels like it is masking an underlining smell. Our ice bucket in room had water in it. Left very little confidence that room was cleaned. Ice machine was empty. Don’t bother with breakfast. Oatmeal was very cold, kept running out of items.

The bed and pillows were great. 1. Had to pay for breakfast when paying over $230 a night. 2. The electricity went out in the room after plugging in the coffee maker. 3. Cleaning crew didn’t speak English nor understood English. Cleaning lady tried twice to get I. The room when the door was locked and was told we didn’t need anything and she insisted on getting the trash. The poo wasn’t clean. The workout room smelled of harsh cleaning solution. It was hard to breathe.

The bed and pillows were comfy and the room was clean. I especially liked the availability of the shampoo/soap and how it was presented. The reason I gave the mark the way I did was because: the toilet had a hard time flushing, the air conditioner wasn't working right, noise from the work area below our room in the morning, no creamers for the K-cups, and normally a continental breakfast is included with the stay.

Hotel showing soon age. Our floor is sinking on the carpet side. In fact you can see where the cracked line is going. Bathroom has a potion of the ceiling coming down in the corner near the shower heads. Slight smell of gas in the hall but I believe they were working on that. The room was clean and bed was nice a comfortable. It also needs a new fridge because it was not cooling to well. But it wasn't a bad stay at all.

The room we had “204” was saturated from the AC Unit and the room smelled of mold.

The staff were great, friendly and willing to address problems. However, the bathroom faucet needed to be repaired and for 3 out of our 5 nights there we had to chase housekeeping in order to get fresh towels and coffee resupplies. Room was only freshened once out of the 4 nights. The maintenance man alluded that tge current manager was cutting corners and deferring needed maintenance.

There was a smell remover machine running in our room when we got there, which was off putting. The pool was filthy which was a huge disappointment as we had been looking forward to a swim after our long drive. Our room overlooked a large building site. Works started at 7am and ended at 7pm. Rather noisy.
