The room was clean, but the pool looked dirty, so we didnt risk using it. Evening staff was never at tge front desk, so had to keep waiting several minutes (3-6?) to get a wuestion answered. Food was TERRIFIC, and reasonably priced. Room was also wuiet. Morning chevk-out guy was VERY helpful and friendly..wish l got his nane (his uniform looked more like he was kitchen crew filling in?)

Clean and comfortable, staff helpful. No problems or issue.

Turning into a hostel for construction workers.

I didn’t notice my room had no bath towels until after I got wet in the shower. Made due with a wash cloth…
-
Elevator was “haunted “ scary stopping on 6 doors partially open before going to the 5 th floor. I saw another couple run out of the elevator saying hurry before the doors close.
-
Clean, staff was helpful and easy in and out location. Starbucks and pizza just steps out the hotel door and across the parking lot. A/C unit in the room was loud and traffic noise from the highway is prominent. If you are a very sound sleeper, no problems at all.

AC did not work properly, never got room below 75, it ran constant. But it was 6th floor and there was some wierd vent in wall in bathroom that got air poured out of entire time I was there. Took a cold shower and closed that room off to control the heat rolling into that room. It was like it was a ceiling crawl space vent and all that heat from top floor blew into the room, was awful. Already had a long day so slept on top of bed and burnt up. Left at 3am because it was unbearable.

Great area to stay in

The staff was helpful and kind, my trip to Charlottesville was not a vaca but to the local hospital for a family member and the staff informed me of a discount that was available through the hospital. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Minuses: pool was dirty, one elevator was out of order, breakfast was luke warm at best, road noise as hotel is close to I64

Staff was very welcoming. We had dinner there and really enjoyed it. A little pricey but good. Booking.com could have given us the money they owe us from changing our reservation to a different day. We emailed them the information and the rate change but have not received any refund.

Exceptional

Good price. Comfortable room. Gracious breakfast host. Nothing

Coffee machine wasn’t working . Breakfast was good.
-
Our bathroom lighting was horrible. It looked like a nightlight. It was very dark as well as there was nowhere to plug-in a blow dryer or a curling iron in the bathroom.
-
Lovely hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and comfortable for my husband and I to move about without getting in each other's way. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom large and very clean. As with all hotels, lighting always seems to be insufficient.
