The inn is very charming and the location is great but the room I had in the building where the front desk is smelled musty and damp. I moved rooms in the same building and it was a little better. But the whole building was kind of musty like a basement. There were gnats and ice wasn’t readily available. The staff were very friendly.

Great place to stay right next to UVA. Wonderful charm. It was a great stay for us and the staff was very accommodating to any of our requests.

The room was ok, nothing fancy or special. It was clean, so it was fine. The people were terrific. Every one we ran into was helpful and polite!

We had a lovely stay at the Oakhurst Inn. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was comfortable. Very close to the the UVA campus, and it's a quick Uber ride or drive to the downtown mall. Highly recommend!

The Oakhurst in was definitely not up to my standards BUT the staff tried everything to make things more comfortable. Unfortunately the Inn was working off of a generator and couldn’t keep up with the heat outside. My biggest issue however was the fruit flies. They were everywhere and it really bothered me. Jake - night person in the lobby was my hero after AC shut down for the 3rd time and I decided to leave in the middle of the night.

The Oakhurst is one of our favorite inns. Love the location next to the UVA grounds. Our room in the main house and bathroom were generously sized, clean, and bright. A live jazz band performance in the lobby on Monday night was a wonderful surprise. Disappointed the new management has started charging for parking. Loud noise emanating out of construction of an inappropriately large apartment building across the street overwhelmed the ambience during an otherwise tasty breakfast served by friendly staff at the Oakhurst Cafe. Love that Oakhurst has two very convenient electric vehicle chargers in available in the guest parking lot.
