Great location for us. Fine facility. The firetruck having to come early in the morning because "the pool are got too hot" was annoying, and supposedly that happens somewhat regularly. I guess, plan accordingly. It's definitely a wake-up alarm...

As Soon as we checked in the fire alarm came on and off for about an hour till we checked out at that time so we did not stay there

Affordability Our stay at this hotel was unacceptable from beginning to end. The property was clearly poorly maintained, and there seemed to be a complete lack of attention to basic upkeep, cleanliness, and guest safety. When we arrived, our TV remote was missing batteries, the body wash dispenser in the shower was completely empty, and the dispenser holder—which is supposed to be securely locked to the wall—was hanging loose. Even more concerning, the flip guard (security latch) on our room door was barely attached. All four screws were exposed, making it essentially useless. We reported this to the front desk within the first 30 minutes of our stay and were assured it would be fixed. It never was. The next morning at breakfast, after guests had been using the milk all morning, staff discovered that it was expired. Around 9:15 a.m., as breakfast was ending, employees were throwing cartons of expired milk into the trash while guests were finishing their meals. It was alarming to realize that expired milk had been available throughout breakfast service. That evening was even worse. We were awakened by the fire alarm and instructed to evacuate the building. After standing outside, we were told it was a false alarm and could return to our rooms. However, the alarm continued blaring at an incredibly loud volume for well over an hour. By the time it finally stopped and we were able to get back to sleep, it was after midnight. The disruption and poor handling of the situation made for an extremely unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, it wasn't just our room. My in-laws were staying in a separate room and experienced multiple maintenance issues as well, including broken blinds that would not open, a leaking shower, and a bathroom sink faucet that was loose and barely attached. This was, without question, the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. The number of maintenance failures, safety concerns, and lack of follow-through from staff is simply unacceptable.

It was okay. I found hair in my bed and my shower didn't work properly. Other than that, clean room and bathroom.

Apart from this incident, the stay was okay.

If I have one complaint, my partner takes very hot showers and the bathroom gets rather steamy. There is no vent fan in the bathroom so, we had to leave the door open to vent the steam.

The hotel had ample parking, was clean and quiet. Our room was rather large for the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. If I have one complaint, my partner takes very hot showers and the bathroom gets rather steamy. There is no vent fan in the bathroom so, we had to leave the door open to vent the steam.

Breakfast was good. Leaky faucet in bathtub; fire alarm went off at 6:30 AM; No kleenex in dispenser; Did not meet the standards we were used to seeing at Holiday Inn Express.

When we checked into the hotel we didn’t notice any super visible issues, but while there we had some pretty big issues. The first morning we had some breakfast, which was exactly fine, until my daughter opened her chocolate milk and took a drink. It had gone rancid. I heard someone else say the milk tasted bad so I told the front desk and the gentleman was quick to try and remedy the situation, but obviously we didn’t try it again. We also bumped into someone in the elevator that asked if we were there for the fire alarms. We told them no and they informed us the pool room got too steamy and set off the fire alarms at 6am the morning before we checked in. Honestly, I’m glad they mentioned it because our second night right as our kids had fallen asleep the alarms went off again and again and again. We did leave the room as did almost everyone else, but they told us we could go back to our rooms there was no fire. The alarms continued to go on and off for about two hours. The pool was also much smaller than advertised via the pictures. Would not pick the place again for sure.

The property was a very convenient location right off the interstate. Just walking in the building, the elevators do not feel safe at all and the 5th floor hallway felt like a sauna. Luckily the room felt cold but that’s about the only positive. When first inspecting the room, it was pretty disgusting. There was left over food still in the fridge and freezer from someone else, hair all over in the bathroom counter and shower, and the comforter had dirt and hair on it. When pulling the comforter off, a random battery fell to the ground; still don’t know where it came from. The TV remote was weirdly sticky and wiping it off did not help at all. We asked if we could switch rooms but was told they were completely booked so instead was given a different comforter. It was for one night so we decided to shut up and suck it up. Then the fire alarm came on around 10:45pm. We have a young kid and an infant who was sleeping and trying to go to sleep. After the building was cleared to let us go back inside, the fire alarm continued to blare randomly for the next hour re waking our children. We were told to just wait it out and the fire department was working on it still. I have patience when it doesn’t cost us our sleep before a very long drive. We really tried to wait it out but after having a disgusting room and no sleep still, we left and went to another hotel. The fire alarm was still blaring around 12:30am when we finally had everything loaded back up into our car.

The location was convenient and the room was clean. There were multiple things in the room that were broken. We asked the staff twice to repair and were assured they would be repaired while we were out. The repairs never happened.

The room was very dirty and smelled musty. The bathroom was dirty and smelled. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. The location to downtown Chattanooga was not convenient.
