Holiday Inn Philadelphia-Cherry Hill by IHG

Not a good experience.

Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. Couldn’t get the in room coffee machine to work but got take out coffee in the restaurant.

Some attached little bar that you have to pay extra for breakfast, crappy little gym, but sooo much great stuff across the street!

Front staff was very helpful. Check in was very efficient. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good location to stay close to Philadelphia without being stuck in traffic. Breakfast buffet was a little pricey for the items in it. But we seldom eat breakfast when traveling. Would stay here again.

The property was fine. The girl checking you in at reception was very good We went to dinner in the hotel restaurant we waited about 20 minutes sitting there before anybody even acknowledged us …while four employees was behind the bar just visiting away. They couldn’t understand that we wanted a bottle of wine because the girl didn’t know English well enough. Another guy came over and trying to understand what we wanted… we just simply wanted a bottle of wine anyway they took forever to take our order. We didn’t appreciate that they were over there visiting as we were tired from a long 14 hour day. And just wanted to eat dinner.

Clean room, good restaurant, affordable price

Many people gathered around the courtyard (common area) and talked loud and smoked marijuana over midnight. The smell of marijuana came into the guest rooms through ventilation. Couple of rooms claimed to the front desk but no specific action taken by them. After couple of claims they switched the room to the 4th floor but the room has strong cigarette smell in spite of non-smoking policy hotel. It shouldn’t be like this situation at any day. The location of the hotel is good and it is very close by the shopping center. The room we assigned was not acceptable because the shelf that the TV was on was obviously lean forward and light stand was leaning like almost slide down. We called the front desk to let them see it. While later one maintenance person came and checked it. He said that TV is already nailed to the shelf so it won’t fall off and the nightstand will be stay as is. It would require some heavy equipment and lots of time to fix it so he wouldn’t do it at that moment. Why the light stand was not nailed to the shelf like TV if it must fix as well.

Not so good for cleaning room with smelling

It was a great location with tons of food options near by! Relatively close to the concert venue we were going to! Upon check in we noticed that one of the beds felt different, but didn’t think anything of it and just chalked it up to it being older. Then the bed broke in the middle of the night and that explained why it felt weird to begin with. The AC wasn’t working properly so it was very hot in the room and we requested a fan from the front desk to try and help. Unfortunately the fan blades were on backwards, which was a simple fix, but we shouldn’t have had to do that.

I did like the free parking and all the staff were helpful and very sweet. The breakfast was not good at all. The oatmeal was like soup, no milk, no yogurt, no juice, and the food was lukewarm. I didn’t like that fact that during the night the smell of weed came into our room.

I wish they have free breakfast like most hotels I stayed at. I learned from the daytime clerk that it’s the Holiday Express that provides continental breakfast. I’m also not also not happy that I could hardly find a parking spot last night being back at the hotel at 7. It gets me wondering if lots of people not invited to the wedding came to the hotel last night.

We stay here often on our trip to NJ. Close to restaurants, stores and highways. My only complaint is they keep their bar/restaurant why to cold. You cannot even sit at the bar for a drink it's sooo cold. The staff has on heavy jackets... crazy
