Residence Inn by Marriott Cherry Hill Philadelphia

The layout was nice. Two beds, pull out couch/living room, two baths, full kitchen. It was great for a family of 5. The breakfast was fresh and the ladies were really nice. But.. the pull out bar of the bed was broken, therefore the couch sagged and fell in when you sit on it. Couldn’t sleep on the pull out. The room smelled of weed. The toilet leaked bad all over the bathroom floor, there was chewed gum by the toilet on the floor. There was an empty liquor bottle in the draw. The step outside was wobbly. When we told staff about it, they didn’t seem to care at all.

I stayed there for one night because I had to work nearby early in the morning. Will not stay there again. Room was spacious, but worn and not well maintained. There was a tear in the carpeting, and several of the lights didn't work, including the one above the vanity. The shower had both rust and mould.

Clean room. Staff were great providing clean sheets and towels, took and replaced garbage.

We did not get our room until 8pm! The front desk gentlemen was as helpful as he possibly could be and tried his best, but we were not happy. He allowed us access to the pool while we waited, but ran out of towels for us to use. He agreed that our rate should be adjusted due to the inconvenience, however, we'd have to reach out to Expedia to assist. Expedia made several attempts to speak to the GM, but never heard back from anyone. Extremely upsetting.

If there was a zero for rating, I would give it. It’s a shame I’ve been a Marriott member for many years and this is the first Marriott hotel that was not up to par. The room smelled like mildew like if there was just water in the rugs. It’s in an uppity part of New Jersey, but you could never tell the way this hotel is kept very old needs to be remodeled ASAP.

Weekend breafast with waffles eggs sausage yogurt potatoes etc was great.

Loved having the two bedrooms and full kitchen as well as breakfast and the pool available That you do not accept cash

Had to move twice. First room smelt terrible. Blood on wall and stains on floor. Second room was left unfinished and uncleared. Third room had dirty sheets. No pans. No coffee maker. Dishwasher and garbage disposal didn’t work. Toilet was hard to flush. TVs were not hooked up. No housekeeping offered.

Found the staff dismissive and the room definitely needed updating.

All the comforts of home, love my weekend stay, breakfast on premises, even a kitchenette in my room.

Breakfast was minimal but fine for us. We were upset that we were charged for parking. It is an out of the way location, and everyone must drive to get there. Parking should be complimentary.

It was right off Rt 70 in Jersey and good for a 1 night stay on the road. While the lobby is updated, the rooms are rather dated. Beds were new, shower was very old, couch had some stains on cushions. Also, surprise $10 parking fee - for a suburban hotel - that was ridiculous. Breakfast was ok and staff were nice. had to walk back to get towels. Couch bed was unusable - spring poking through. $10 surprise parking fee. Shower tub had chipped paint and sofa cushions had stains.

The room was HUGE! A kitchen area, a living room area, more closets than I have in my studio apartment... Absolutely no complaints.

Stayed for a week with children. Staff all very friendly. Great breakfast buffet. Pool clean and well maintained. Seemed short staffed with housekeeping laxing. Our room had a leaking air conditioner and many light switches not working, otherwise good. Waited for fresh towels for a few days after requesting and housekeeping came after 6 days. Rooms are separated into several buildings. Main building has breakfast and pool area, which you need to walk over to. Great location right off highway.
