Hampton Inn & Suites Chesapeake-Square Mall

Booked a king size bed with a sofa bed. Didnt get it. Check in time was 3pm. Got to the hotel at 3:25pm. And couldn't get my room. Had to wait until 4:15pm and I had my 3 year old with me. Only booked the room because of the indoor pool. The indoor pool was closed for maintenance. And I didn't know until after I checked in. The breakfast was ok. Another guy complained about the sausages being cold at 9:30. And the personal running the breakfast station told him they were hot at 6am.

Bathroom floor was loose

Super friendly staff! Room was old and did not feel clean, very weird layout. Pool was closed for maintenance which really disappointed the kids. Woke up to a huge cockroach on the wall above my bed. I would not stay here again.

There were bugs in my sister room she and her son complained and they were offered a can of bugs stay. My sister immediately left the room left to sleep in the car, because they were told there were no room available.

Great staff

The room was filthy! The pictures online do not match what we experienced. The toilet paper roll holder was broken, the seating in the room was stained, the shower was disgusting. We didn’t want to shower or brush our teeth. Our door to our room was broken. It was overall not a great experience.

Stayed two nights. First night there my family and I encountered bed bugs. Was moved rooms. And refunded one night.

Was really good room clean spacious

Bushes and trees are overgrown into the parking spots. Tree growing against the building at the front door. Piece of plywood covering a hole in the wall in the room. Unpainted and held on with drywall screws. Chipped paint around the room. Desk lamp hanging by exposed wires. Bed mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Woke up so many times in the night. Gross looking blue tape on the cabinets in the breakfast area. Area was clean of crumbs but gave a dingy feel. No trash can in food area for waffle maker cups. Food was just ok. Would not stay here again for that price.

There was dirty wash from who ever stayed before us didnt get the right room

Very poor decorative condition. Rundown impression. Sofa uncomfortable. Business Center was closed and was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. In the circumstances, the staff did some photocopying of emails for me, but I had really counted on using the computer, so not having that access was a huge disadvantage. In truth, I believe we should receive some compensation.

Everything was fine

Hotel met all our needs, However building is in need of a refurbishment. Our toilet paper holder was gone, had to reach backwards to reach it. Plaster was cracked around shower. Breakfast was ok, not a fan of egg white omelette.

The staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive to our need for room changes. Had to change rooms due to smell and broken refrigerator.

Room had a weird odor and carpet was old and looked dirty. Staff was very nice.

got a room that should not be given out chemical smell, broken tv, missing furniture. went to front desk staff was helpful gave another room. Breakfast oatmeal was hardly room temperature. not the norm for Hampton inn.

It was a nice hotel and the staff was great.
