Hampton Inn by Hilton Chester South

The hotel was extremely run down and not anything expected from this brand. The room was not clean. The humidity control was horrible so everything smelled like mildew and everything felt damp, even our sheets. I would not recommend.

I felt the room was a little musty smelling. It was very humid when we came to visit, so it could've just been the conditions. The bed was comfortable, pillows were comfortable, staff was very nice. I would stay here again

Lots of construction going on, and rooms were a bit musty.

The staff was friendly and professional. The room with a very comfortable king bed was just fine. The breakfasts are great, especially the omletes

After waking up sick, we found mold in the room. My wife is very sensitive to mold since 911.

We was there for 4 days and Noone clean our room and it smell mildew in our room

The room was old and smelled awful. Only good things about this hotel were the location and the breakfast.

The hotel smelled liked mold, the toilet barely flushed, the bathroom was very warped and there wasn’t an actual overhead light to utilize.

The room wasn't clean. There were hairs everywhere. It smelled like a dog had been kept in the room.

Room air was very damp. Everything in the room felt wet. Had a wet, musty odor. Room was not ready at specified check in time. Otherwise it was good.

Clean and quiet..nice accommodations for the price..staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a wonderful addition..

Room was damp and smelled like mildew. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and bubbly due to the excessive moisture in the room. I had two rooms on the second floor and both were damp. The carpets were moist along with the beds in each room. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend to anyone.

Easy access off I-95. Plenty of eating options around the hotel. Traffic is a bit congested around 5:00 pm and 8:00 am but expect that around Richmond. Rooms were spacious. A bit older hotel which could use an update. Breakfast area a bit tight first thing in the morning. Actually took mine back to my room to eat.

This place was nasty And watch out because they charged my card $5 after I left when I didn’t even purchase anything! I I stoppped here for an overnight stay because I was traveling but never again .. RUUUNNNN!

They were extremely friendly. Clean everything that we used. Beds were nice bathtub clean and worked properly. Basically you won’t go wrong staying here. Also pet friendly. We have a yorkie she had no issues did not act as if other dogs peed anywhere. So on that level excellent as well. If we get back in the area we will definitely try to stay here again.
