Best Western Cheyenne

Staff was friendly and ready to help. Room was clean but a little noisy. Overall a decent stay!

The room was clean and parking was good. I wasn’t there to see the breakfast as I had to leave before it started. The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt safe there and didn’t really hear any of the neighboring rooms.

The room was very roomy but I had to request a coffee maker which they brought to us but no cups to go with it...The hot water was non existent even at 2.30am...maybe an upgrade us needed or turn it up. The A/c would not go below 66 we like the room to be cold. Breakfast was ok except on Sunday the lady doing it was huffing and puffing when putting g sausage patties in. If you dont like your job then dont do it. Some muffins would be nice and pancakes. The guy who checked us in was great right on point.

The clerk who checked me in was very abrupt and not welcoming. The other clerk, next day was pleasant and informative. The breakfast was good.

A few weeks before the weekend, I received an email from Expedia saying the hotel had changed name to Best Western but my reservation was still confirmed with nothing to worry about. I arrived at the hotel about 8:00 pm to check in. To my complete shock the staff at the counter said I had no reservation and the hotel was full. I showed him my Expedia information but he was no help and said he had turned away several others that day who had booked via Expedia. He suggested that no Expedia bookings had transferred to the new ownership. I attempted to seek help using Expedia's awful service but got nowhere. Despite having made a reservation a year in advance I was left alone at night with nowhere to go. Being on my own in a foreign country this was extremely distressing. I don't know exactly who is to blame for this - Expedia or the hotel. But neither was of any help to me. I will obviously never use Expedia ever again. I felt like the hotel staff member made me feel it was somehow my fault for using Expedia, but the hotel chooses to use the platform. Overall the worst travel experience of my life.

Hotel was recently remodeled so everything was clean and fresh. Stephen at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. He answered all my questions about CFD and gave me helpful tips on how to get around town. Truly a delight.

The bed was uncomfortable. The TV guide of channels and programming didn’t match, there were no towels, no extra toilet paper, and the coffee was horrible. We don’t plan to stay at a Best Western again.
