La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cheyenne

Close to the event venue at Little America. In sad disrepair from the parking lot to the rooms.

It was convenient to the event we attended and the staff was great.

The staff is excellent but the property not so much. It is very tired and in need of a major update.

This hotel cannot compare with most of the La Quinta's I have previously stayed at and the rate was high for what I got. Two of the lamps did not work the frig and microwave were both unpluged. Bed and pillows were good. An update to this property is needed.

Hotel is under remodel per note on the door but I wouldn’t have known any different. The floor we were on showed no signs or sounds of a remodel. Room was quiet, & spacious. Just wish the couch would have been a pull out could. Breakfast was the usual at most free hotel breakfast (cereal, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage). There was a pretty big pot hole in the areas between the hotel & restaurant.

The property was run down and not clean

The only thing was not any protein other than yogurt for breakfast. Property was clean and nice. Staff was very accommodating.

Staff was excellent

The staff was amazing! The General Manager and her daughter ran shuttles to Cheyenne Frontier days and didn’t charge for it. Only took tips which they give to charity. I couldn’t find my purse when we checked out and they moved furniture and took bedding off the beds to help me find it! They are very friendly and helpful!

Pool was empty and we were unaware of this. Also breakfast was just average.

Room was clean but pretty noisy.

They are remodeling the hotel which is making it a lot better.

Don’t think I’ll be staying here again. Not very clean.

I was on a road trip with my 82 year old mother and they were not full at check in and I requested 1st floor for my mom's benefit and the response I got INSTANTLY was its pre-assigned......nothing more, zero compassion and I found it ironic as all of the other La Quintas all booked through the same 3rd party had no problem accommodating that request......and they put us on the 2nd floor almost to the very end!! Will never recommend and will not stay there again!

The room was clean, very nice, but the hotel overall appeared a bit run down, however it appeared the hotel was in the process of updating. Pool wasn’t clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It was very nice, adequate.

I had asked for a handicap accessible room. I was told my room was on the second floor and not handicap. Her very brief attempt to locate either a handicap room or one on 1st wasn't impressive. As I've stayed there before, I will not again. I cancelled the room and payment

The location is super convenient for those traveling through Cheyenne. However, our room and its bedding smelled like stale smoke. Also, the carpet in the hall is super dirty and the property does not appear to be well maintained.
