Sands Motel

Was nice and clean. Staff was very accommodating.

Horrible, appears that it’s as a “per hour” motel. Sheets were crusty. Staff wouldn’t assist changing anything so I left.

Wires hanging across a long wall, with a power strip had five things plugged into it. This is a relative slum with mostly long-term residents. They rent out their spare rooms by the night and call themselves a hotel. Big vegetable garden in the middle as well as a bunch of BBQ equipment for the residents to cook on and have parties. Everything except TV and modem were late 50s/early sixties vintage. Bathroom was relatively clean but my shower was cold.

Got what I expected. Clean. Nice employees. No hot water. No plug ins in bathroom. Mold on shower curtain. One chain lock on door. Or parking spot had a cone in it when we got in late and had to park far away in someone else’s parking spot.

Supposed to be a non smoking room. Room was yellow with smoke. Wouldnt transfer rooms or refund me the rest of my stay. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Clean and inexpensive

Staff was friendly and willing to work with us. Air conditioning not great. Cleanliness not great, I recleaned the bathroom. I cleaned the air conditioning filter and washed the shower curtain and window curtains. Not a lot of undesirables around, which made the stay worth it.

This is a 1950s motel, which gave it a lot of charm. We'll maintained. When I arrived, there were several families using the charcoal grills in the central garden with picnic tables. Parking right by your room. But most of the rooms have steps into them. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Satellite box television did not work properly

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Personable, and professional the price was reasonable, it was quiet clean and comfortable.

Bed sheets blanket and spread were dirty.. Floors were filthy... hair in shower...counters dirty. Price and location was good

I brought bed bugs back to my home from this room. Disgusting!!!!!!!!

The people working there were nice enough but there’s nothing anyone can do about the condition of this dump without a complete revamp.
