Quality Inn Christiansburg - Blacksburg

All the pictures showed a walk-in shower and an updated room for the accessible room we had chosen, it was equip with a bathtub and the only thing that could be considered accessible about this room is that is was on the ground floor. The description of the property boasted a pool and updated property. This was far from the truth. The pool was not available due to being inoperative and the rooms were in no way updated. Very disappointed.

Good service overall , great job

The property did not look kept up. The shower head was broke. The meadow to the kleenex box kept falling off. Wallpaper was peeling away from the wall. Anytime I went to sit on the bed the bed would move and I fell a couple of times. And we could not even enjoy the pool and wanted to charge me $25 to check in 20 minutes early which is outrageous. I would not recommend this place.

Room is not too bad. It was mostly clean. My main issue is my room was right beside the pool and it was very noisy. People were playing music very loud at the pool and there was a lot of screaming. Which is not the biggest issue, but I would prefer to not have a room right at the pool if I ever stayed here again.

The location next to Cracker Barrel They put us in the back of the motel and we were three women alone. Also, the door did not shut properly. I was afraid someone to break in the door when we went in. There was a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower rod. There was bugs behind the front door. There was a hole above the baseboard and they had blue panels tape over it. Poor excuse for a motel, they need a lot of work a quarter of a roll of toilet paper in the restroom when we got there we asked for more and we got more.

Staff was extremely nice Rooms were dirty looking… bedspread had stains… floor filthy … was moved to another room still dirty looking..uncomfortable feeling outside of rooms weirdos staring at ya from top floor

Staff was great. Location was good. Price was outstanding. They do need to invest in some capital improvements to update - place was dated and the plumbing fixtures needed fixing.

Room floors must be dirty. Walking around barefoot, then stepping into the shower, black footprints.

Quite No smoking ash trays

More than expected.

The ice machine was located in a separate room that was filthy and was a chest type machine that you access the ice with a scoop. I do not believe that this is up to the health department code as there is no means of keeping contamination out of the ice. Staff was very nice, bit management refused to refund the final two nights of a three night stay. I do not believe a hotel should be able to offer substandard facilities and refuse to refund your money. We did not stay the other two nights. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere that values their customers.

Unfortunately, I hate to say it, but this was hands-down the worst hotel experience I’ve had. And I’ve traveled to a lot of developing countries so that’s saying a lot. The staff were perfectly pleasant, but the place is incredibly rundown and grotty. The wallpaper was peeling, carpet head holes throughout, the air-conditioning unit was broken and dangling off the wall. We felt like we needed to sleep with our clothes still on. Really gross. I should’ve known better. Anything with “quality” in the name is probably a red flag.

My stay was a short one but it was comfortable. My room was clean it smelled great every time I entered my room and the staff was great to me. I dislike staying at Hotels because you always find something wrong but with this place I didn’t. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good Nothing

Room was clean except for carpet. Bed was comfortable but AC was noisy. Sink and mirror area was really dark! Location and price were good. Breakfast was good. Parking was ok but right next to a busy Cracker Barrel. Room doors open to outside so didn’t feel as safe as interior rooms.

Don’t let the website fool you. Don’t stay here. Front desk help was not helpful and could not figure out how to cancel stay or provide a refund. Do yourself a favor and stick to the bigger name hotels across the street.

i thought the breakfast left a little to be desired. Waffles or cereal and yogurt.
