I’m usually an accommodating person but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had first off WiFi doesn’t work stayed there two days and found 20+ roaches bed was moist sheets weren’t finished drying stains on the bed lifted mattress cover to find dog hair spread through the mattress room clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a couple days stains on the floor , whole room smelled of pee also standing water in the sinks flys circle all the drains shower had mold and mildew would not recommend staying here ever once the sun goes down ghetto folks just start fighting and arguing mind you it’s past 12 and a group of folks just standing outside my window yelling just avoid the headache also deposit supposed to take 3-5 days on the 6th day called to see what was the hold up and was told that the operator just pushed it thru and I’ll have to wait another 3-4 days and of course they’ll respond to this comment and say they’ll do better but they’ve been responding to people that had the same issues as me before I stayed there and i didn’t believe the reviews or thought they fixed there issues DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID

The front desk staff was very friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and I appreciated the excellent customer service. The room itself was nice and comfortable. However, I was disappointed that there was no breakfast and the pool was closed, even though both were listed as amenities online when I booked. We still paid the full price for the room despite those amenities not being available, which was frustrating. I also noticed trash behind the bed and dresser, which made it seem like the room hadn't been cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been. Overall, the staff was great, but I hope the hotel updates its online listings when amenities are unavailable and pays closer attention to room cleanliness.

Location close to work My $75 deposit wasn’t refunded because they claimed that my wave cap bled on the old rewashed, yellow stained pillow cases. How is $25 justifiable? These owners are ripping people off with bs reasons to keep a deposit. WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR BOOK WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!!

Check your account for your refund! They will find any and everything to try to keep it. Staff’s attitude when calling to ask questions as to why I didn’t receive my full deposit back.

This hotel stay was a nightmare. No breakfast as advertised on the booking site, the pool was "under construction" so that wasn't available either, i had to argue and fight with staff to get an extra set of towels and washcloths. The glass sliding door, which they are adamant its not a glass sliding door, but it is, almost fell on my 7 year old niece when she went to open it, luckily i was there to catch it. The shower faucet was just loosely installed, not caulked or secured the actual shower. The lobby makes this place look way nicer than it actually is. This place, staff as well, was terrible. I will not be staying at this location again, and i highly suggest anyone else from doing so.

Plenty of parking. I would have liked to a Microwave in the room.

We walked into our room 504 and there was a roach crawling on the door. The lady at the front desk switch out room to the "last room available" on the 3rd floor. We walked into that room and there were two large piles of dirty laundry right when you walked in. It was late or I would have been gone after the roach and we were o lying staying 1 night but the issue was that was the last room available. Then somehow she found a room on the second floor available but it was a "suite". 2 adjoining rooms one with a bed and one with a couch. In the morning there was a little bug in one of the showers that looked like a baby roach to me. Other than that it seemed nice but I can never go back to roaches. Other weird things like the smoke detector being taped up completely.

I’ve stayed in this property years ago when it was a Marriott not that they have lost their Marriott standings. It has fallen down very bad. The shower did not work properly. It did not drain the water properly. There was stains on the carpet. The ceiling look like there was probably a leak in the roof somewhere. There was a smell in the room that I stayed in the staff was rude not knowledgeable about the area I stayed there took my niece and nephew there so that they can swim in the pool. The pool looked at dingy and dirty so we end up not even swimming in the pool. It was a really really horrible day nine out of 10 would not recommend never going back there again.

Swimming pool was not working

This hotel do not clean your room unless you tell them to, completely opposite to the trend. I asked at the counter that my rooms are going to be done right?, the lady said yes. I came back in the evening to find out my towels were still there, bed was not done, trash wasn’t taken out. I wanted to call them but both phones in the room had no cables which connects to a phone jack. So I went downstairs to ask at reception, I was told you have to tell us to do your room. Omg! I told I asked the lady in the morning will my room be cleaned and she said yes, do you want me to use the exact wordings? Come on! Additionally, weed smell throughout the hotel except the lobby.

The bathroom was not satisfactory. I wanted to take a shower, but the shower was not working. The room had a strange odor, and the pillows appeared old and worn out. I checked in at 5:00 PM and ended up leaving at 1:30 AM due to these issues.

Very attentive and always willing to help.impressive throughout and considerate of their work. They seem to go out of their way to make sure that everyone is comfortable. Highly recommended them throughout the hotel industry. Lessons could be learned. More hotels should be like them. I have been staying here for awhile because I’m waiting for my living situation is complete. I will truly miss the Chester inn and suites. It’s a pleasure writing about the hotel.

No pool

I have stayed here before. This time there were slight issues (room missing housekeeping items and TV with no power), but the staff was quick to move me to another room and my stay went without any further hiccups.

I got a non smoking doom and the hallway smelled like smoke. The place is not secure. The back door remains open.
