Hilton Garden Inn Cincinnati Midtown

This was a great hotel just outside of the city but easy to get everywhere we wanted to go!

This hotel was great. It was clean, comfortable & spacious. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Cincy. The staff was incredibly nice & helpful I wasn’t thrilled about the parking. It has a tiny parking lot in front but the rest of the parking is under the hotel in a garage.

Exceptional

Helpful front desk staff, pristine room, great functioning ice machine in elevator lobby, and very effective blackout blinds. Parking also very convenient so we had no problem with $10/night.

Cleanliness

Covered Parking garage even though you have to pay a daily rate. Close to highway and 1 exit away from Rookwood and 2 exits away from Oakley

We loved, all the little details, shampoo and soaps in the shower, automatic curtains, after hours snack area. The check-in service was nice, a/c on and lights and name on the tv. On our check out day about 60 minutes before checkout I was taking luggage to the car and housekeeping opened the door unannounced and my wife was in the room naked. Pool and bar could be open a bit longer.

Bathroom wasn't the cleanest the shower had hair in it and there was alot of shower scum other than that place was ok bed was super uncomfortable but staff was really nice

For a hotel with an upscale reputation as the Hilton, I expected FAR better!!! Why would I stay at a Hilton when I can stay at a Holiday Inn Express for less money, get free parking, DAILY housekeeping, and a complimentary (FREE) breakfast every day???

Easy on and off from highway

Initially I had some doubts but it turned out to be an okay stay. The carpeting in the elevators and hallways was visibly dirty, which was a turn off, but fortunately it was not like that in my room. The room was very clean and comfortable and all staff with whom I interacted were polite, friendly, and attentive. Those are most important things which is why I say it was an okay stay. I did have to change rooms however because the control for the AC did not work in the first room that they gave me. But they did move me quickly and easily and without a fuss and the next room was fine - very comfortable and clean. No complaints about that. Regarding the food service, the hotel restaurant serves a very good burger. Other than that, there are not a lot of options on the dinner menu. The breakfast buffet is very good. Guests should be aware though that it isn't included in the room rate. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. Thumbs up for them. The layout of the restaurant may not be to everyone's liking however. Essentially, there is no separation between the dining tables and the check-in lobby. Some diners may be put off by the commotion of arriving and departing guests passing by with luggage, Dashers coming in with deliveries, people on their phones calling taxis, and so on. It isn't conducive to sitting down for a quiet meal. Overall, it was an okay stay, but it could be much better if they cleaned the carpets and did something about the restaurant.

The building was clean inside and out, and the staff was very friendly. I’d stay here again.
