Homewood Suites by Hilton Cincinnati-Midtown, OH

Also, My father, whom I was bringing on this trip was having difficulty getting onto the hotel WiFi. He went to the front desk for help. The front desk attendant “Jamelia” rolled her eyes & treated him poorly. I expected better as I witnessed this walking up. I unfortunately, must retract my 5 star rating I gave a first glance and give Homewood a 2 star. The actual stay was so over shadowed by the dirty room key in the bed I can’t advise anyone to stay here. I won’t stay here again either. That was too big of an issue for me.

The breakfast was another highlight. There were plenty of choices and a great variety of options—probably the best breakfast experience I’ve had at any Hilton property so far. Our only minor issue was the parking. The parking area was shared with two other properties, which made finding a nearby spot a little tedious, especially at busy times. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and only wished we could have stayed a few more nights. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!

The front desk sent maintenance the next morning and the young man disconnected the link between the thermostat and the fan. Once that was completed, the fan worked fine on "low". The young man also added batteries to the clicker for the ceiling fan. We ran into the young man when we were checking out and he asked if everything worked well after his visit. Someone should be testing equipment regularly. Other than that, the room was great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was better than most. Parking was very convenient. The cookies in the lobby were special.

Excellent location, nice pool, great breakfast, lots of things to do nearby Credit card was charged twice but luckily the issue could be resolved. Lesson learnt should be for the staff at front desk to not rush things - wait a minute or two to see if the card worked before asking the customer to insert again, when the customer told that it had worked the first time

Roomy comfortable suite, great breakfast, and extremely convenient to many things If I had a complaint, it would be the feeling that I had to park in someone else’s lot.

After scouring the landscape for a decently priced, well-located and brand new hotel, i came across the Homewood Inn Suites in Oakley. Many of the others had bad reviews and sounded awful, with dirt, noise and vehicle break-ins. This one on the other hand has proven to be an excellent establishment, and one I would stay at again if i ever have to come back to Ohio and need a hotel in the area.
