Sonesta ES Suites Cincinnati - Sharonville West

We were in room 211, building #2. The underlying filth of the room was incredibly disturbing. I went out and purchased cleaning products and a mop! I will share photos to this post. The carpets were disgusting. The tub was filthy, the floors were so dirty, my mop water came up black. The filth that came off of the couch when I took a lysol wipe to it was disgusting. There was no water running to the dishwasher so it was not usable. The manager told me someone would come to repair it, no one showed. Dishes were put away legit dirty, not even washed. I would not stay here again

The issue is the rooms are not as advertised. The site show clean and bright rooms. The rooms were grungy with very stained carpets and dirty outlets. There was a whole between the ground and the baseboard and I could see through the door where they installed a new lock system which didnt completly cover the hole from the old one. The 1 pot and pan were so scratched you couldn't use them and the coffee pot was gross. The exterior of the property was very nice and it appeared they did some updates. I was very disappinted.

Very pleasant easy check in good rooms

While the layout of the room was nice, it seems that the staff there save the worst room for those that book through Expedia. When I went to enter the room, I walked through several spider webs due to not expecting them when I went to enter the code to enter the room. I told the staff and showed them where multiple spider webs with egg sacs were outside of the room entrance. I was told they would clean them the next day but they never cleaned them. I believe the hotel is unique and the rest of the rooms may have been nicer than the room I was given. When I mentioned the spider webs to the staff, I was told I could either stay in the room or they'd give me a full refund as they could not move me. As there was no way I'd be able to get another hotel on such short notice, I had to stay. There were no spiders inside the room and all else went well.

Always stay here when I’m in town

Breakfast was basically waffles, yogurt, oranges, toast, bagels and packaged snacks. Not even milk for the dry cereal… Oh and a Jaguar was parked in the accessible parking all week and the weekend without moving and it didn’t have an accessible parking permit. Front desk was informed and nothing done. My husband uses a wheel chair. It would have been nice to have been able to use the parking spot. The place was quiet though and the kitchenette was nice to have. The price was cheap and still not worth it. We will not be back.

TVs didn’t work staff didn’t fix the issue there were bug dropping on the beds

It was very nice to have a kitchen in the room, but that was probably the best part. The room was dirty. There was splash stains on the wall. There was a dirty glass in an old bottle of water underneath the bed. The air did not work in the first room so they changed our room the second room was just as dirty as the first I cleaned it, and after that, it was OK the carpet is stained, and the couch was stained as well, the front desk attendant was very nice when I went to ask for extra pillows, clean sheets, and extra blankets, but the blanket that she gave me were torn. They say that breakfast is included, but do not mention that it’s only Saturday and Sunday so that was not helpful because my day was Monday through Thursday. It is OK for the price as long as you don’t mind cleaning things up yourself.

Plenty of room for the money. Good value, clean, and good amenities. Could use some charging ports!

good for the cost of your stay but definitely could be cleaner. carpets were pretty dirty but id stay again for the pool and the savings

Check in was a nightmare. Staff was not polite or helpful. Room was filthy. Black mold around the tub. Sink in the loft was stopped up our entire stay. Notified front desk, no one ever came. Visible dust and dirt on the curtains. Carpeting throughout was stained and filthy. No housekeeping. When I asked the front desk I was told no you're not getting housekeeping- you just checked in yesterday. Entry door wasn't working properly and we had to force it open every time we entered. We repeatedly had to go to the front office for towels and other amenities. Three tests and only 1 remote control. None of the tvs worked.

The property was just ok. The staff was just ok not helpful at all. I felt I was completely on my own when asking for assistance. A resident had a large dog that went after my friends visiting me. The dog also came after my wife and me I told the manager about the the vicious dog. The manager said no reassurance that something would be done. Manager was unhelpful and considerate, condescending, and unprofessional. I will never stay at that hotel ever again.

Great location and service nice big rooms

Room was clean, staff was nice, very understanding had an emergency situation.
