Breakfast was good. Coffee ia available 24/7 non stop and it was good coffee We stayed for 6days no one change bedding’s, no one clean the room. Also when we first came to room there wa left over foods in the refrigerator and used bottle water. In the bathroom there was used soap and shampoo from previous guest.

Passable

Bathroom could have been a lot cleaner, and the showerhead spewed water like a fire hose making it nearly impossible to keep the floor dry. Our room was directly in front of the breakfast area which left us with zero privacy.

It was nice. Loved the middle area where the breakfast was served. My room and bathroom was very small. Wasn’t crazy about the parking lot.

The staff was helpful. Good breakfast. Comforter had a stain…which was not great. Found a towel hook in bathroom on the floor in the morning because it had been put in the wall so many times the wall was coming apart. The toilet seat was coming off. I let staff know about the problems when I checked out and they appreciated it. Seemed like the room/walls need a deep cleaning/updating. However, it was still fine, quiet, and comfortable.

The staff was wonderful. Pool was closed which was disappointing

The room was clean. Big plus. Motion sensor light when you walk into the room, not working. Had to make my way back to the door and open it for some light to see how to turn a lamp on. The a/c unit was not a traditional unit. The renovation included a very nice mini-spilt, but the thermostat to turn it on took 30 minutes to figure out. Long drive with a lot of traffic, just wanted to relax and watch a few innings of baseball. TV remote didn't work to turn on, turn off or control volume. Had to find the buttons on the TV console to turn it on and get back out of bed to turn it off. Was hoping to hit the sleep timer. I also wasn't aware RCA still made TV's. A personal thing I like is for hotels to be somewhat updated. The effort was made with some larger items, but the small things matter, too. Extremely outdated almond outlet and light switch covers. Many with mismatched screws. If I arrived earlier in the evening I would've requested to switch rooms. The other plus was proximity to the Clemson campus.

Location was great for our visit to Clemson University. Close to everything. Good breakfast included in our room, Spacious rooms and confortable beds. The only suggestion would be that the hotel in general needs to be refreshed. Although well maintained, you can tell that it needs some updating.

One room smell pretty moldy so we got another room but other than that it was a good stay. The staff was very attentive thank you very much.

Don’t stay here if you live within 50 miles of the hotel. They have a cash deposit of $250 because “local guest have torn up our rooms”. When asked why I wasn’t told that nor charged that last time, she just shrugged. All I wanted was somewhere to sleep so I could drink at the bar next door and not drive 25 minutes home after drinking. Nice hotel and room despite the up charge deposit and her attitude.

the place was nice.. BUT when I checked in and got my room, I went into a room that was already occupied.. staff member was nice and gave me a new room - the rooms are ok, but look really ran down on the inside. light for mirror didn’t work, hair was still in the bathroom shower and floor, wall paper tearing, etc.

The bathroom had not been cleaned for us. The toilet seat was visibly soiled, the shower had soap bar that was previously used in the shower and hair was present in the shower floor. The front desk staff immediately came to clean the bathroom for us but she was upset because that wasn't the first room that had complained. She did clean it for us and was very kind. The room overall smelled of stale cigarettes and bad air freshener. I went out to my car after dark and the parking lot was incredibly dark with no lamps or lighting to help you feel safe at all. My son went to use the treadmill in the morning and it was unstable. It wobbled the entire run. This place made us want to check for bed bugs. We lifted the mattress and found a questionable bottle under there. Overall, not the worst hotel I have stayed at but I DEFINITELY will not be back to the Best Western Plus in Clemson.
