Baymont by Wyndham Cleveland

One of the most concerning things was that the door to the room down from ours has been kicked in. The door frame was busted up and splintered, which made us question the safety and security of the property. The beds were just as disappointing. There were no bed skirts, leaving the stained box springs completely exposed. The smell in the rooms were horrible, air was off in the room and it was 100 degrees outside. The bedding and room was not clean, and the overall condition made it difficult to feel comfortable staying there. This hotel did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, or guest safety. I went to the front desk explaining the situation and asked for a refund, he said because it was booked through Expedia he couldn't do that. We left and did not stay there. We went and found another room somewhere else. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. Management needs to address the property’s cleanliness, repair the damaged rooms, and improve overall maintenance. I wished I had taken pictures now to upload them.

There were not enough towel hooks in the bath, one handle on dresser was hanging down and outside was dirty and a bit trashy,( old furniture and repair objects everywhere). One young man was alone to run the place and didn’t make it up in time for breakfast nut I will give him an A for effort. The price was appropriate for what we experienced.

Great location and fantastic price

Location, it was near a mall and all kind of businesses. It was not as clean as I would have liked. The front had furniture on the second floor concourse, rowdy people lived in the back building and while I was trying to sleep, they were setting off fireworks.

It is a great place to stay. A little older but still good. Staff was excellent! Breakfast was a little sparse but for the price was good enough. A good place to stay for a conference!

Location The place was in very bad state of repair. The bath room smelled like urine, One of the FULL size beds was so broken down that you had to use pillows to fill in the hole. Shower handle came off. Floors were dirty!! Door jams were rotting out.

I originally booked 3 nights but checked out after 2 and the hotel still charged me for the 3 nights. No refund.

Room was dated, beds were well worn, property has TRASH in the parking lot and around the building, Old (faded) boxes stored under the stairs, car seat and other toys on the walkway. Stairs were a hazard (concrete surface chipped away). Pillow looked like it had a dirty footprint on it.
