La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clifton/Rutherford

The room seemed recently renovated. Clean, carpeted, very comfortable, all of the important amenities. There was a problem with noise from an adjacent room, but front desk was very responsive. Would definitely return.

Hotel is clean, looks newly renovated but the pool (which was the main reason I booked this hotel for my 3 kids) is cold and water is not so clear. Couches are old and dirty. Good breakfast but its the same breakfast everyday. Good for short visit but not for longer ones. Very friendly, helpful and hardworking breakfast crew. Kudos to them 👏Very generous breakfast which a lot of guest seems to abuse. They allow you to bring food even if you ate already. One woman I saw she brough a basket to bring left over and lots of extra foods 😅 Lots of waste too, some they dont even eat, just take it and throw away 😌 Just felt bad seeing it. The nifht shift person was very friendly and helpul. The morning ladies are not very friendly. Overall great hotel to stay. Highly recommend.

Clean rooms,Accomodating staff

We reserved 3 rooms for our family for our vacation. Our rooms were clean, staff was friendly and there was something for everyone (hot and cold) at breakfast. We would recommend this hotel and will stay there again if we are ever back in the area.

Had a great 3 night stay here. Rooms were clean (connecting rooms). Breakfast area was nice, and very large. Decent foods and drinks. Plenty of parking. Working elevators.

Clean room, very close to the American dream mall and Newark airport. Breakfast was ok.

The front desk staff was so helpful and insightful on things to do with my children on the spectrum this is a great place to stay with family I definitely will be coming back

I booked the room from expedia, i have waited half an hour in the lobby to check-in. the staff told me that booking from expedia does not guarantee the room.

The hotel was in a very good location to travel into NYC …. The hotel is under construction and the rooms are fairly nice and clean! The pool area did not seem maintained as it should be…water was cloudy! Lobby was very inviting and clean! Would probably not stay there agai

The front desk staff at night was unprofessional and rude. We only stayed one night so didn’t interact much with the daytime staff but they seemed much better. Somewhat dirty shower but other wise room and stay was fine.

Property needed some cleaning externally. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful but felt like they were too busy conversing among themselves than helping customers. Felt like I had to wait on them to finish their conversation before getting help. Breakfast was good and staff was on top of clearing out tables for next guests. Location was convenient to a few shops and eateries close by. Would stay again in future.
