TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lake Jackson Clute

Took 8-yr old grandson on a road trip. We stayed two nights. Room was spacious and clean. One issue was the door was hard to open and shut. Really had to pull but it did close. The big bummer for GS, the pool was having maintenance work - so no swimming. But we both enjoyed our stay. Thanks

Our stay was perfect. Our suite was very clean and well taken care of. The staff were very kind and professional and very helpful. We were impressed with all of it. We will come back.

I’d never stay here again. I got my first room and I had occupants already in the room( roaches). Second room little water pressure and a lizard came from the closet. The overnight seat told me they didn’t have extra towels but if I bought my dirty ones to the front seal she would exchange them. Breakfast had soy and oat milk only and the back parking lot nearest my room had old carpet and junk everywhere. The check out lady barely got up to check me out. She must’ve been tooo comfy in the chair. This place is a negative 5 stars. Only good was the initial check in lady in the afternoon who gladly switched my room and gave me a discount but outside of her nobody was helpful or useful.

We did look forward to go swimming in the pool but it was close

The carpets are filthy, no AC in the Elevator or hallway...the carpet was very old and dirty. The Pool was NOT working. The room is Nice, and the front desk staff are Nice.

Clean room, easy checkin

I was definitely impressed with the hospitality and kindness of the front desk staff. Upon arriving, my room wasn't quite ready so I had to wait for roughly an hour with children who were ready to get out of the car and into the room. The front desk lady was super sweet and gave the kids popcicles and bottled water and gave us the option of going to the pool while we waited. The overall stay was good. The rooms were nice and clean.

Got a suite due to needing a fridge and place for all our food, the fridge didnt work and our freezer didnt freeze

Clean Rooms. AC was excellent!

Water pressure needs to be fixed other than that it was ok

Staff is friendly, hotel is in need of renovations.

Breakfast could be better

Staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are always clean. The pool was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was always on time and had quite a few options. Will stay here again.

Tried to adjust a/c thermostat on the wall per a sign directing us to do so. This was not correct. A/C must be adjusted at the unit itself per the maintenance man.

Quite a bit. The room was spacious, almost like a small apartment, it was nice.

Staff was very friendly. The location was a little out of our way, but I wanted to see what you all had to offer A little too far from where we were going
