Front desk clerk accused me of not paying my bill! She runs out to my car after I check out and has me come back into the hotel to discuss my bill!! She calls her boss and says this lady hasn’t paid her bill room number 307. She said my card was declined!!! I said I prepaid over 2 weeks ago!! told her I was in room 317. She like do u have a son??? I said no I had a daughter!! She said oh!! Wrong person. Sorry abt that. I’m like can I go??!????? I was very insulted as I repaid on Expedia. Very disappointed.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Place has bugs, tried to cancel but they won’t answer the phone to Expedia to confirm the discount they promised or let me cancel the next day. So I paid for a suite that has been rented out for months. Expedia didn’t do anything to help. Done with them too. Horrible experience. No money back because they don’t answer. Expedia should do better than this.

We were removed from our room on Saturday when we returned from the beach. My daughter and husband Found a man in our room. They told me we were removed For non payment. I told her Friday night check in was not normal, didn't even get my ID or credit card thought my room was pre-paid. Was told Juanita night clerk quit. Kayla was so helpful got us another room. Found our personal items in a Bin. Our Worst experience ever. Not recommend this location. Filing complaint with Baymont corporate office.

Nothing worst experience ever. Mold & roach infested & un profesional didn't honor the booking.. I hated the whole experience with that hotel. Didn't honor the booking excuses that I used 3 party had gave me a downgrade.

On 07/31/2026 We were given a room at Baymont by Wyndham in Clute/Lake Jackson, TX that wasn’t ready or safe. The air conditioner was torn a part with wires exposed, the curtains were torn, toilet filthy and piles of folded sheets on the couch and the room smelled musty. We could see mold exposed from torn baseboards between the wall and the carpet. We walked right out and went to the front desk and asked for another room stating it was unsafe and filthy. We were told there were no rooms available. They said they would refund the money through Expedia and gave me a telephone number that doesn’t work. Expedia has tried calling numerous times and it goes straight to voicemail. Expedia also sent them an email twice with no reply. I have called Wyndham Resort office and they can’t contact them either. I’m still working on it with no refund!! With that kind of service and help don’t stay there!!

Horrible. Don’t rent the suite. It’s not available you find out when you get there. Then they try and stick you in a smaller, horrible rooms. Roaches!!

Absolutely horrible experience. After a long day of work in Clute, Texas, I booked and prepaid for a room online because I needed a place to rest for the night. I arrived at the hotel around 8:40 p.m., completely exhausted. I provided my identification to the front desk attendant, and she looked at it multiple times before simply telling me there were no rooms available. I was shocked because I had a confirmed reservation and had already paid for it. When I asked how that was possible, she just repeated that there were no rooms. I then asked about my refund, and she said she would refund it. This left me with nowhere to stay after a long day of work, forcing me to drive all the way back home to Houston while exhausted. A confirmed, prepaid reservation should be honored, or at the very least, guests should receive a clear explanation and assistance in finding another accommodation. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend staying here based on the way my reservation was handled.

Nothing. I’m actually furious. After driving multiple hours with a dog and a 6 month old, I walk in to find out that pipes busted and I’d have to call booking for an emergency relocation. I had to sit on the phone for almost 2 hours with booking to get it figured out, with a screaming baby who just wanted out of the car. Not sure why people who had rooms reserved weren’t contacted when the issue happened, instead of letting people just waste time and show up. I would have not even left my house and gone if I had a phone call, because we had to pay for another hotel, all while waiting 7-10 business days for the refund for this one. Very inconsiderate!!! Won’t ever get my business again because of it.

No one around to get extra towels from Fire alarm went off at 530am Sunday morning No one in the lobby to say what was goin on We had to call 911 ourselves Roaches in bathtub area … Just not a very well kept property Very very dissatisfied…Will not stay there again

We have stayed here every year for the past 6 years. We have seen the quality of cleaning has deteriorated. From Dirty sinks floors and dirty walls upon arrival quality. May be due to the lack of help or experience housekeepers.
