Ocean Landings Resort and Racquet

I'm giving it a 4 because when we arrived to check in, we were given a room with two queen beds, even though I had reserved an apartment. I had to go back to the front desk, explain the situation, and show my reservation. Even then, I had to argue to get the accommodation I had actually booked. Once we got to the apartment, it didn't even have a kitchen, which was another feature included in my reservation. We decided to make the best of it and enjoy the beach instead of letting it ruin our vacation. Everything else was fine, but I won't be coming back. When you book a hotel, you expect them to honor your reservation and provide the accommodations you reserved.

Manager was nice and room was clean. Mission accomplished to have a night on the beach but would not recommend if going by photo and want a longer stay than a night or two.

Outdated but clean - unit was not ocean front - would not stay there again

Also there was a live cockroach in the bathroom floor, I called and receptionist said we were in Florida and probably there was another kind of bug. So what? Then its ok?? It was a terrible experience

Checked in for an apartment unit at front desk. To get a parking pass, they tried to get me to sign up for an 90 min presentation for the timeshare. You are able to bypass that if you stick to it! Upon entering the unit though, the musty smell hits you as soon as you enter. Also unit didn’t have a stove in it like advertised. Went to Publix for a few things to have for the next day. Came back in to find a bed bug in the pull out couch!! I took the bed bug up to front desk wrapped in paper towel. Front desk lady told me to throw it away. She then proceeded to tell me that there was no other apartment unit available for my family to be transferred to. She said I could check out and get refunded since the bed bug was found. After calling Expedia and told them the situation, I was told it was escalated to the manger. Two days later I received an email saying that no refunded would be sent but only sent me OneCash that doesn’t even touch the amount I paid!!! I called the resort myself to ask why I wasn’t getting a refund and was told by the reservation department that their pest control couldn’t find any evidence of bed bugs. I told her I took it up to the front desk even and she still told me sorry, FL has a lot of bugs. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE OR THRU EXPEDIA!!!! Terrible service all around!

I do not like this property at all. There was no help regarding the staff. It was not as clean as it was shown to be in the pictures. The pictures are very deceiving. The pullout bed in the living room was very flat. It needs to be replaced. I don’t know how they expect anyone to sleep on there. It was a horrible experience overall at night. It’s pitch black there’s no lighting. That’s adequate. There was some type of pool party going on till late, which was disturbing when we had to wake up early for a trip we barely got any sleep because of this pool party.

This was a stay over the $200 mark for such an unpleasant experience.

Beautiful place. Pool stays open pretty late. Full bar with food options. Room was very nice. Staff is very nice and helpful. Security guard on duty that walks the property all night..
