Instead of the traditional brew coffee makers there was a small Kurag. This was a nice change. All the little amenities were were helpful and well thought out.

A very nice place to stay! Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to stay here again!

This motel was clean n comfortable n a reasonable price compared to others. We were exploring 13 hrs a day n just needed a place that was clean, safe , friendly n reasonable n that’s what we got. The bonus was walking into town was only a block away which is great that we didn’t have to move vehicle

Nothing fancy but close to downtown. Clean and quiet. Everything you need for overnight stop.
-
very reasonably priced after our expensive stay in jackson wyoming. laundry room on the premises, yes it’s a little old and outdated, but it was clean and affordable.

I just stumbled on the western Rose as I was making last-minute plans late at night. The owner was very accommodating and when I got talking to her the next morning, she was extremely helpful. The owner is the one who runs it and it shows. I would definitely stay there again.
-
Old fashioned motel experience, but perfect for the Cody vibe. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to town, although it was too hot to walk when we were there. Would definitely go back, extremely good value.

They went above and beyond for us. They say in a letter it’s an older property to give better rates. But the whole thing is lovely. It was very well maintained and exceptionally clean.

My husband and I stayed a week at the Western Rose. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go in Cody from there. The owner, Brenda, went over and above to make sure we had all the information we needed for a wonderful visit. In addition, we were on a motorcycle and she provided everything we needed to clean the bike after a 2000 mile journey. The laundry was great and the rooms clean. This is where we will stay when we return to Cody on the future.

The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a good place to stop for the night before heading into Yellowstone.

It was an old fashioned style motel but the reception was friendly and accommodating. The was clean and comfortable. A pleasant satisfying stay.

Location. Easy to get to,.

Overpriced for the age of the hotel

The price was right, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for! The owner was very friendly when we arrived and directed us to attractions in Cody. The room was very dated, with curtains that didn’t cover the windows well, a stained basin with a “hole” for a drain, no stopper. Poor water pressure. Too much furniture in the tiny room. We got in late after going out post checkin, went to bed. We were itchy, pulled back covers and saw specs of something on the sheets that felt like sandpaper. Looked under the sheet, black specs that we picked off and wiped the sheets off. Took 2 showers during the night due to itching. Looked under headboard the next morning, hairs, more debris and what looked to be a scab someone shed. Took pics and contacted owner, showed her the pics and asked that we not be charged for the stay @ $120/nite. She then viewed it herself but refused, we insisted based on the condition of the unit. She became defensive and adamant stating we should’ve called her (1:30am) and that Cody is country and there’s lotsa dust. We had paid 2 nites so she did refund the second nite. Stayed at a very clean newer motel last nite, only $20 more so she has some QUALITY competition!
