    great alternative to the Broadmoor

The room was very nice overall. Super comfy bedding. I do wish the bathroom was a little fresher. The lvp flooring was showing a lot of wear. I also wish there was a microwave in room. Staff was super nice and helpful. Excellent pools available. Drinks were awesome. One complaint would be the quality of the food for the pricing, we tried Gates Grill. The location is gorgeous but our ticket was 170 for 3 adults and 2 kids. The food wasn’t seasoned well. I did enjoy the coffee shop. Delicious breakfast burrito. I would stay here again but avoid the overpriced food.

Room bedside lights. Bulb burned out. Breakfast pastries were sub par with similar resorts and for the price. Baked goods were equivalent to pilsbury.

It was a wonderful place to stay! It had great views with so many activities.

This is my third time returning and I was not disappointed. Love this property for all that it has to offer! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and there are tons of activities and amenities to keep a family busy. We especially loved the option of having indoor or outdoor Pickleball courts. Also appreciate the dining options including the café that serves handcrafted, coffees and teas.

We had some hiccups with our visit, but the wonderful service at the hotel made up for all the things we ran into. Every time we flagged something, they quickly addressed and gave us a new room which improved our stay. I'd highly recommend this for families as there are so many amenities - many swim options, gym access, tennis courts, golf, and pickle ball. Plus the restaurants close by our amazing, don't miss the bakery and the pizza. Last but not least are the views... they are breath taking and if you get a mountain view from your room, you will not be disappointed.

    Thanks

The AC was very loud.Hair in the tub. Housekeeping knocked on our door multiple times betweeb 8-830 waking us up to see if the room was empty or not. Outside the grass was long, trashcans overflowing, pool area very rough. Not clean. No hot tub.

Our biggest gripe was the cooling system (Bear Creek Lodge). While it's great to adjust the room temp in room, the AC unit was very loud and would essentially make the room an icebox while on, then room would progressively get unbearably warm before flipping on again. While on it was very noisy, which made conversation inside or out on the balcony difficult to hear. As a younger family, we enjoyed schlepping up and down the mountain but be warned it is a lot uphill/stairs walking around the resort. If we needed elevator access this would not be the place.

Air conditioner in the room: very noisy, with doubtful temperature control.

If you want a place with all the amenities you need plus more , this is where you should stay. This place had multiple pools , indoor and outdoor, multiple bars, and delicious breakfast with a stunning view is the mountains. The kids enjoyed the complementary golf cart rides around the resort. There was so much to do, would definitely come back. Best part the staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating.

Had a great stay this past weekend. It was a family trip and we loved all the activities and amenities. Kids specially enjoyed the kayaking and s’mores night. My husband appreciated the welcome beers. We also appreciated a good room location centrally located on the property with an awesome view. What’s cool is they have a golf cart service that can take you wherever you want on the property if needed. As others mentioned the rooms are little dated but they were fine, super clean and comfy. We really liked sitting out on the balcony in the morning and evening. The staff members were welcoming and friendly, they had everything you could think of tennis, golf (course is awesome), little soccer area by the pool (my son made some friends here with pick up game). All around wonderful visit.

We had an amazing time here. Everything from the room, view, food, and staff were incredible! We will definitely come back!

Poor service which also comes with hidden fees. Do NOT eat breakfast here (food is like warm at best) I've never been so let down by a resort for breakfast that was not included.

It was a great venue for a quick family vacation. And the breakfast buffet could not have been any better. One of my family guests were housed in a different location and had a terrible experience with a guest above their room that was pounding on a door for many hours in the middle of the night. They called security about it at 2 am and it stopped but then the guy started again. My daughter and son-in-law got no sleep. There were many complaints from other guests about this disruption but because the reservation was made through Booking.com they could not give me a credit for the cost of their stay. The location was very nice but this experience definitely ended up being a negative memory. Would Bookin.com be willing to credit for their stay for the one night?

The adult pool had no shaded area and only two umbrellas. Housekeeping seemed majorly understaffed.
