La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods

This hotel is a joke, they didn’t honor my refund as I was told by the front desk upon check in for a reservation that was supposed to be made for another date. They never canceled my reservation for the date and never honored my refund.

Stayed for two nights in late June. Reserved 2 rooms. Was told they were together when they actually were on opposite sides of the building even though they were consecutive numbers. Breakfast the first morning was non existent. They had no coffee made and no juice. Waffle machine was broken. Second morning though they had it fixed and was told they had juice and coffee but we chose to eat out. Rooms/bedding/towels were clean. Staff was nice. Biggest disappointment was the pool was not available. One of the main reasons we chose that place. Should have called to confirm prior to stay but website shows they have one and is listed as an amenity. Overall it was somewhere to sleep and shower but not much more. If that is what you are looking for this is the place for you.

Very old establishment, pool wasn’t open, pretty sketchy surroundings. Very loud people coming and going all hours if the night. Very old bathroom, toilet ran all night, no one was at the front desk at check out so couldn’t share or experience. Only helpful person was the maid! Will definitely not stay here again

The door did not fully close as there were gaps of light around the entire doorway, the bedding was visibly stained and dirty, they bathroom had mold and was not well maintained, the toilet did not flush correctly, the staff was on FaceTime with her friend the entire check in process and check out after deciding not to stay the night in this room. It was nothing like the pictures. Very disappointing and still waiting for a refund

Perfectly clean and safe hotel. The pool was closed during the end of July and it certainly needs a good paint job in all of the rooms. The remote control worked to turn the TV on and off, but not to change the volume. Staff were very nice and breakfast is simple but fine. It is a good value for what they’re charging in the location is excellent. It is very close to Garden of the Gods, Costco, and I 25. Super easy to get in and out of Colorado Springs and the Air Force Academy. Basic but fine

Disabled customer here and was placed on 3rd floor. No big deal, I will take elevator oh wait elevator not in service. I asked for a refund and have not received one to this date. I love La Quinita but this place was awful.

First, the room was clean. The sheets, towels, blankets, all very clean. We came in after 10pm. We asked for a ground floor room, and were given one. When we got to the door there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. So we knocked, used the key to open the door and found no light switch. Had to go get the person at the desk to help turn on the light. Found the Do Not Disturb sign held on with packing tape. The wall light fixture was broken. There was an adjoining room that was closed up with painters tape. We got 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 1 Washcloth and one floor towel. There was a dorm sized fridge which worked, a microwave we never tried and no cups for the in room coffee maker, so we never used that either. The only hot food the whole time we were there were waffles. Otherwise it was cold cereal, bread for toast, and a banana or bagel if you got there soon enough. That was all that was offered other than coffee. There were holes drilled in the top of the dresser. We had to get the remote for the TV from the front desk. There was no clock or radio in the room. The bathroom had no fan so it got steamy quickly. The only reason we stayed was because we were only there for 3 nights, we didn't want to have to change rooms. The tiny pillows were also clean, and thought the mattress was comfortable, but there were 2 FULL beds, not QUEEN.

Only stayed one night. There was dog food in the corner of the room before the bathroom and the chair was not clean. The bathroom light did not work and the ice machine was broken.

Trash wasn’t taken out of the fridge or trash cans from the previous people. Curtain was broke on the window. Hole in the corner of the ac leading out. Made us pay a $100 deposit when arriving and still haven’t received a refund for it.

The room was in ill repair. The coffee machine didn't have the proper pods, so it boiled over the u. SB port did not work. The mattresses were very old. There was no cup for the coffee maker. All on aa it did not live up to the La Quinta name.

Room was dirty, toilet would not flush and bathtub would not drain properly.

Breakfast was almost nothing.

When I arrived there were several police outside that stayed most of the day. In the parking lot there were several people observed smoking and snorting various substances. The room smelled musty and several surfaces were sticky. The TV did not work and help was requested several times but the maintenance man was unable to fix it.................overall, better then expected for a La Quinta Inn.
