La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods

Parking was sketchy; whole area was sketch. People sleeping outside in vehicles and on ground near the property.

When the clerk did come in he charged us $100 deposit and was extremely rude. We were concerned that something might have happened to the desk clerk. When we got to our room it had a shared adjoining door with other guests who were extremely loud and up until 2 am I will never stay at this location again

The outside doors and layout is a favorite!!

Room was clean BUT no working TV and one extra in the closet that didn't WORK ( 2 tv that didn't work. They have a pool but it was covers and it was a high of 80's all three days. Dog area was not clean, old poop still seen. The breakfast was horrible, they have a juice machine for apple and orange but the machine didn't work. They offer waffles but had NO batter or butter, the had cereal but NO milk. Other guest we ran into had dirty bedding and no towels. They had a homeless person living behind their trash can. For what I paid for July 4 it was not worth my stay and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay their.

The room that was shown on expedia website was not real, They had provided a room with very poor condition with broken light bulbs and the air condition in the bed room was not working. The staff behavior was very bad and when I asked to checked on the air condition, no maintainence person showed. The staff replied me that " I don't work for you and so I don't have listen to you " They asked me several times to leave the hotel room with no refund. The receptionist refuse to give their names and the manger name and contact info. All the receptionist were extremely rude and disrespectful. They mentioned couple of time that they will never refund any fee for room with no air condition. I was in a very bad sitaution where I was not able to get any room around that area and I had to stay. The worst experience I had with EXPEDIA.

The plumbing in the hotel did not work correctly. The employees appeared to not care about cleanliness, guest, or their WiFi/cable. Some guests were yelling all night and were harassing children - it was a bit disturbing. The hotel appeared to have hired some homeless people to make sure guests left and did not sleep comfortably....

Central location, near the freeway, required a 100.00 $ deposit and room inspection to check out It would be better if they recognized regular guests.

The hotel is old and not maintained. Elevators did not worked so we had to carry heavy luggage 3 floors

When checking in at 4 pm there was no room available and I had a confirmed reservation. I came back at 5 still no room. At 5:30 finally got room after waiting 20 minutes at the check in desk. Service was awful and clerk’s English was unintelligible.

We didn't even check in! No one at front desk. While my wife waited in car for us to check in she was approached by multiple transients. We were worried about vehicle being broke into. Still no one at front desk

I reserved the room in February. We were supposed to have a king sized bed. Got there, there weren't any rooms with king sized beds. What's the point of a reservation, if you don't get what you asked for? There were no smoking signs all over, please tell me why a woman lit up a cigarette whilst walking by me? It's summer, I'm wondering why the pool wasn't open. It was covered the whole 4 days we were there. There was a dirty hand towel on the shower rod. The window was cracked. Just not happy

You get what you pay for. We had to ask 3 separate times what room number we were in because they kept giving us a different room number. The front staff lady didn’t even greet us. They charged us a $100 deposit. When we finally found our room, the beds had stains everywhere. The toilet was running and it was pretty loud. We were worried about the deposit so checked google reviews and one user said they charged them the deposit because they used the towels. Another user said that they had to fight the deposit fee due to them “forgetting” to refund it. Another mentioned bed bugs. We were so uncomfortable we decided to just check out that same hour. We lost $60 but that was better than staying a night there.

TVs didn’t work. The tubs felt like they were about to sink in. Lied to about maintenance coming. The entire place was ran down.

We actually left and didn’t stay. Most disgusting hotel I have seen Many more things I can say. Do not stay here

Actually ended up not staying here. Swimming pool was not operating at the time and was needed for my grandchildren. I had booked 4 rooms for a week. Owners were gracious in offering a refund because of this. I was very thankful.🙂

Do not stay here! Read the reviews, there listing has false, misleading and straight up lies. multiple fake reviews, this is a Motel, not a hotel. the photo of the continental breakfast was Not from this hotel. Pool Out of service and looks like it’s been like that for a long time. The building is in disrepair. High crime area around the hotel. people yelling and partying all hours of the night. We had 4 room every last door security lock was broken. Every room has been broken into. Very un safe. I Called the front desk’s multiple time no one every answered. Worst place I have ever stayed!
