Travelodge by Wyndham Colorado Springs Airport/Peterson SFB

The breakfast was good,the staff was friendly, had bedbugs in the first room they put us in. They second room the air conditioner didnt work and the toilet didn't work properly. The third room was cleaner but still smelled musty but didnt have bugs. We tried to go to a different hotel but Bruno Mars was there for a concert and we couldn't find another place.

Their were bed bugs in our room. When brought to managements attention they offered to comp one night of our stay. This is a health code violation. We had to thoroughly clean and sanitize all of our belongings before we could even bring them back inside our home.

We cancelled immediately after we saw the room. Mouse poop in the closet. Leaking water heater in closet. Old food was left in microwave. Bathroom flooring was held together with duct tape. Couch was missing cushions and had fitted sheet covering the missing cushions. My wife cried. We cancelled and left.

Upon walking into our room, we realized it was awful, smelled like cigarettes and sweat, peeling corners in the bathroom, just bad, so we checked the bed when we got there, sort of, but not well enough. I woke in the middle of the night half asleep scratching my chest and hands and arms, in and out of sleep for a few more hours. When I finally did fully wake up we noticed the bites, everywhere that was exposed (even slept in more than usual thinking it was gross not to). We packed up and checked the sheets and found the telltale signs, small rust colored dots on the sheets and comforter. Had to go home and throw half our stuff away, hot wash and or freeze the rest and vacuum and clean like I never have before to make sure it didn’t come home with us. Absolutely traumatizing. I have reached out to the hotel with several email addresses, one from Wyndham themselves (it’s a franchise so they told me to try one). No reply in days. I expect and will fight for a full refund. They charged me the 1$ hold for deposit upon checking in and after checking out (NOTHING was touched or damaged, too gross to even use anything) I was charged another $78 which has not been returned to me. Please don’t stay here it’s not worth it!!!

The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I only had 2 issues with my stay, brought them up to the staff. They took note so the issues could be addressed.

I would rather sleep in the car then stay here. Upon my arrival I had a bad feeling because nothing looked like it did on the pictures when I was booking my stay. I asked if I can look at the room before I decide to stay and I was informed that there would be penalties if I decide to cancel so I told them I don’t care. Once I saw the room I knew I got screwed. The place smelled dirty and rooms were nothing like they present to you online, plus there was no TV in my room. I was very disappointed and had to stay at a different hotel. Let me put it this way, 2 star Best Western was so much cleaner and nicer than this place. Do not recommend.

The property was conveniently located near shopping and dining. The housekeeping was awful. There were layers of dust on the phone. The staff did not vacuum around the nightstand. The bed skirt was ripped and there was toilet paper stuffed inside the smoke alarm by a previous guest possibly a potential hazard. Had the room been cleaned properly it would have been easier to forgive the chipped paint.

Do not book this place

THere was bed bugs and dog poop in the room. I cancelled my reservation and tried to call the manager, but they did not call me back.

worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The rooms were disgusting. Smells like urine carpets were dirty. Didn’t have enough towels smelled horrible. I can’t stop stressing about the smell. No screens on the windows. Worst stay ever.

No elevator for the second floor and the breakfast room was on the second floor. The floors in the room were faux wood rolled and not glued down properly so bounced when you walked on them. The beds were very soft and one of the queens seemed to have a broken support so it leaned when you sat on it. A very small bathroom, no counter space for toiletries near the sink. Breakfast was minimal, cereal, no yogurt, stale biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. Very basic things. But it was quiet.

Fridge in room wouldn't close so we couldn't use it. A sandwich was left in the fridge from the last occupants. Room wasn't cleaned well. Bathroom had a foul odor. Person at the front desk the day of our check-in had a very nonchalant attitude, was unhelpful & lacking in customer service. I have never booked anywhere & had such an unpleasant experience. I dont normally leave negative reviews but I have never experienced this level of unhospitality. I've stayed at several Travelodge locations in the past but never had a bad experience. I have photos but I'll spare the property the embarrassment. Book elsewhere even if the rates are more, trust me it will be worth the extra expense.

These guys didn’t even clean the bathroom, clogged toilet, urine on the seat. Holes in the walls and doors. This place was a robbery for the price

You get what you pay for! Old, poorly maintained and sketchy clientele and staff. Exterior doors that aren't securely locked at night, and the sent of weed wafting through the whole building. Can't recommend especially for a family!
