Comfort Inn Columbia West

Staff was very rude when I checked in. Staff did not welcome me and were playing on their phone. My room was moldy and musty. The bed had signs of not being cleaned as there was dirt specs under my covers.

2 night stay. The room appeared to be clean and the property maintained. Prior to check in the manager told me he was going to cancel my reservation because they have a busy day due to local event and I didn’t pre-pay. He said he tried calling me. However, I was traveling and in major airports and didn’t receive any calls. Ultimately he didn’t cancel. I stayed on the first floor. The room smelled of water damage/mold. There was a dehumidifier in the hallway. The linens had multiple stains, some that looked like dried blood. When I requested clean blankets, I was given 2 bed pads/mattress covers. The next day housekeeping came to the door and I told them about the linens and was told they would check for clean blankets. Housekeeping came back with the manager that told me they didn’t have any clean linens and they would check their storage unit and perhaps give me new blankets. The manager was apologetic and didn’t want me using the mattress pads. However, the housekeeper returned with another stained blanket. Needless to say, I kept the mattress pads as they were white and clear of stains. Breakfast was good. The location was close to shopping/restaurants. Staff were very nice. No parking issues. We also saw what appeared to be a roach. There were leftover crumbs/chip on the floor and the mattress itself was dirty. I won’t stay here again. If he would have cancelled my reservation they would have been doing me a favor.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was cold and horrible. The mattress was worn. The back of the property was overgrown but the front was clean and nice pool area.

I wasn't allowed to have any. I was told there was no food. The night shift staff. She wouldn't give me a breakfast muffin. She told me, the hotel doesn't have any food. I've been traveling to this hotel for over 2 1/2 years. I've never experienced this before. When I came back a few days later. I told the day shift front desk clerk what happened. He showed me the hotel had plenty of breakfast food.

okay. nothing special. Because of our schedule we had to forfeit all but one morning. Air conditioner was noisy. Husband's side of the bed was not comfortable. The electric outlets were poor. Only one outlet was helpful for our chargers.

It was clean and breakfast was pretty good.

The breakfast was the best experience I had at this location. The food was hot and fresh, The breakfast area was clean and inviting. The food handler was courteous and helpful. I checked in around 1030 pm. the agent on duty was calm and helpful. I was impressed by the look of the hotel as being clean. In the room it seemed to be clean. After I got into the bed, I smelled urine in the bed. After I kept smelling the urine I got up and pull the sheets back and smelled the mattress. The mattress had a strong scent of urine present. I showered and made a bed on the couch that was in the room for the night. As I begin to pray that morning, I had a mice to come from behind the refrigerator in the room. I told the morning agent and his reaction was like, It's not my problem, It will be a while before I be a guest at Comfort Inn at that location. I thought I would have monetarily compensated. I am a Choice Privileges' member and I never experienced anything like what I experienced in his stay. Mentally, I still smell the urine on my body. I demand a refund or a free night at any Choice Privileges' Hotel.

It’s a good place to sleep for a couple hours instead of your car. Be sure if you have a dog to make sure they have a pet friendly room available when you make a reservation (ie via Expedia - be sure to call) . The beds were kind of comfortable but everything else was very run down. Rips in the carpet by the wall, weird red stain, weird blue stain. The black out curtains needed a clip we happened to have in order to keep the parking lot light from shining brightly in the room. Breakfast was included. About what you’d expect. Everything was run down but it was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Served its purpose.and the staff was nice.

The stay was comfortable but the supplies for the room were not adequate, had to pick up soap, not delivered. Breakfast was nice but the staff was not friendly at all, especially the receptionist how checked me in, and the staff in the kitchen area was rude and disrespectful.

The room was clean and spacious. Very close to the hospital where my father was having surgery
