Very nice hotel, good location
-
The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel provided a quiet and relaxing environment that made it easy to get a good night's rest. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a good selection of options and was a convenient way to start the day. The location was excellent, with easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The hotel was well-kept, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. I truly appreciated the hospitality and excellent customer service provided by the staff. I would definitely recommend Hampton Inn Columbus-North Columbus to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again!

Nice and clean Hotel. Location was great and felt safe there.

There was no air-conditioning in the hallways, one elevator was out of order and we were there for tonight/3 days and no one emptied any of the trash cans in the hallways or lobby so everything was overflowing and stunk! It was a very hot weekend and it was hard to wait for the elevator in the hallway since there was only one and it was so hot and of course there was a big stinking trashcan right there by the elevator. Bed was also a bit hard. The room layout was very nice and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom with no drainage issues. It could have been a great stay.

The worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in.

You really can not go wrong staying at an Hampton! As always, it did not disappoint!!

Staff was very helpful! The property appeared to be understaffed as trash cans were overflowing

I travel a lot for work and pleasure. This was by FAR the worst hotel stay I have ever had. This was supposed to be a "Hampton by Hilton," and it was nowhere close to that level of comfort. Let's begin. 1. We had to ask for cleaning supplies when we checked into the room because the tub and counter were filthy. 2. The toilet paper hanger was falling out of the wall, so if we touched the roll wrong, the TP would end up on the floor. 3. The TV was not hooked up, and I could not get it to work. Luckily, I travel with a Roku, so I just used that. 4. The chair in the room was disgusting. I had to ask for a new chair multiple times. Without being too gross, the chair had stains that looked like someone should not have sat there naked and dirty, if you follow me. 5. NO AC, during the hottest time of the year! NO AC! My room was hot, and I had to ask for a FAN.... never got offered a new room. The whole hotel was HOT; I have a photo of the thermostat from the Lobby, and even it read 81 degrees..... Let's see, the elevators (2) were slow, and after the first night, one broke, so there was a single elevator in service at the hotel for my whole stay. The cleaning crews seemed to leave at about 5:00 PM each day. Trash from the evening was piled up in the hallways all night, until the staff returned in the morning. I'm running out of characters, but I can go on. I was not offered any type of compensation for the horrible stay. Still waiting for the General Manager to Call me. HORRIBLE.

Nice hotel, comfortable, with good breakfast. I’m not used to the southern humidity and I didn’t think my AC could keep up. If I was there longer I would have asked about it, but could have just been me and my internal thermostat.

Staff was great, room was clean, breakfast was also

Clean and staff was great!

Our room was clean and quiet! Parking was sufficient. The breakfast was what you expect at a hotel. The biggest issue was none of the ice machines work, checked every floor before inquiring at the front desk, staff knew there was a problem that is ongoing.
-
The staff members were consistently polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, but the menu options were somewhat limited. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place with excellent customer service and do not mind older décor, this hotel is a good choice.

Major issues with check in.

Good

N/A They cancelled my reservation w/o even telling me or my approval. So I go check in at 1am and look totally stupid upon giving them my confirmation number & then staff telling me that my reservation was cancelled. All rooms were booked & I was S.O.L pretty much

Could have had some fresh fruit at breakfast but overall a good selection. The fitness center was good newer weights and equipment that actually worked.

Booked a double room, 4 nights. Room assigned was assistance needed room. We checked in late so no time to change rooms. I asked the desk for another room the next day. Room had very low beds and soft mattresses. Uncomfortable. Shower wand was supposed to be adjustable on a slide bar but the shower head was stuck at bathtub height. Next morning no regular rooms available until the third night. Exception was another assistance needed room one floor up. We checked the bathroom and at least the shower wand could be raised so we moved there. In the evening upon return we found the motorized window shade didn't function and was wedged up into the header. Told front desk. Maintenance would get on it "in the AM". Had to roll shade manually for the evening/morning. Next day upon return to the room asked if the shade was fixed. "no" they had to 'order the battery' for the mechanism. Silver oxide battery that could be found at home depot. Asked for another room with a regular shower and I would pay for the difference. None available in all 5 floors?. Missed our room service day 2X as we had to move rooms and had to remind the staff 2X. Told I would get Hilton Points for 'inconvenience', never happened. Parking is atrocious. Lot so tiny if you're not there by dinner you have to park in one of the other hotel lots nearby and walk there. Staff tried but were unhelpful. Never ate breakfast. Coffee decent in lobby, bad in room. Room carpets were not clean. I would not reserve there again.
