Quality Inn Concord Kannapolis

This is my second time booking here. Clean rooms, nice pool, quiet, convenient location, and overall a good experience. I will of course be back.

This is a dated property but the rooms are very clean and updated. Breakfast was on par for this level of hotel.

The bed and the facility was clean, however, got a non-smoking room and it stunk.

This hotel wasn't bad just for a night's stay. We only used the room to sleep in late at night. Two issues were that we called prior and asked if we could have early check-in due to coming into town earlier than expected and we were told yes. We came two hours earlier than was told our room wouldn't be ready until way after normal check-in time. Also, due to the hotel being sold out because of concerts, we had to take a smoking room. I also asked if the room was purified? And will it smell like smoke at all (I have asthma and allergies)? Again, we were told no and that they have ways to remove the smell. They were totally wrong - as soon as we walked in, the room reeked of smoke. The lobby also wasn't accessible, and you could not sit down during hours of operation. We decided to skip the free breakfast as well. I'd say only stay here if you just want a quick getaway, need to change, or have a place to rest. Lots of nearby food places and regular stores, so that was nice. Be weary cause management also repeated my room number aloud - and the tablet they have at the front desk shows your personal information, and other guests in line can see it.

Room was great except bedding and air felt moist from air conditioner. It's a great place for sleep, unless your traveling for work while working night shift. I had no other noise issues except the constant noise from the staff pushing their utilities/house keeping wheel-barrow back and forth in front of my door, starting between 8am-10am and ending 3pm-5pm. This sounded like a roller-coaster!!I made the front desk aware upon check-in I would be sleeping during the day due to night shift worker. My personal fan, the air conditioner, and sleep sound machine wouldn't touch drowning out the staff making all this noise from the wheel- barrow. Also, the same male staff member woke me up banging on the door at 10am Saturday morning and even unlocked my door saying housekeeping, as I lifted my head from bed saying, I don't check out until Monday, and will be trying to sleep until 5am. Again, same staff member banging and opening my door at 10am on morning of checking to rush me out of the room, when check out wasn't until 11am. The breakfast and parking was great! If your a night shift travel worker, don't stay here, because you will not get sleep.

I have had look with Comfort Inns recently while traveling the region for cheerleading competitions, so I was willing to take a chance here. I wouldn’t do it again. Since the property was the type with the door accessible from outside, I was concerned from the be. I asked the clerk if we could check the room, and get a refund if there was a problem. Something I do at hotels I haven’t stayed at before. The response was very course. The property looked like it had been abandoned for years, then recently opened back up for business. I had to carry my daughter’s huge bag upstairs. Again, I never stay at these motor lodge type properties. The toilet paper was terrible. After staying one night, I asked the housekeeper for fresh towels and was told no. She said I had to go to the office. Even though she had all the clean towels on her cart. I went to the office and a sign said come back at 1:30. On check out day, the clerk was going around, knocking on doors at 1055 telling folks it was time to leave. On a positive note, my car did not get broken into, we did not get mugged, I didn’t smell weed, the room appeared to be recently upgraded. The room was clean and did not smell. Also, there was no evidence of bed bugs. The pool looked nice, although I didn’t swim. Not sure if the breakfast was any good, so I won’t comment. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was traveling and couldn’t drive any longer. In not that hard to please, and I usually stay at Hampton Inns, nothing fancy.

Breakfast was good, plenty of parking however on a 3night 4day stay…. There was no housing keeping done. Had to go to office to get clean towels and linens were never changed.

Watef pressure in shower could have been better. It was pretty limited.

Thieves try to make you pay a $700 cash deposit for a service animal

Comfortable bed and the pool

Nothing I have a service dog for my Lyme disease. They wanted to charge me a $700 cash security deposit for having him in my room. I felt uncomfortable doing this and I didn’t have the $ to do this. I also asked for my $ back but have yet to receive this. I did not know about the $700 until I called to double check on my reservation. I want my $ back since nothing is said on the website. Pretty sure this is illegal to do.

They run a very strict program. No accommodations or late check out. Price was ridiculous but there was a concert and many cancelled flights and its as if they knew to price gouge. They walk by your room starting at 10 to make sure your prepared to be out by 11. Flight got cancelled needed a place to stay but unless you have no other options…. Try elsewhere

DO NOT stay here. Pictures are very deceiving. It looked like a dump! I booked a pet friendly room there. I was in the area for a dog show. I showed up to check in around 8pm, and was told there were no pet friendly rooms available. I was not allowed to stay and could only find a hotel almost an hour away from the dog show grounds and had to pay double. I am still working with hotels.com to try to get a refund.

Adequate for a short stay, spend the night when traveling. Room was clean. The lobby area was closed except for breakfast. Not a place to stay for one looking for amenities, places to visit other than room (no open lobby), just basic bed and shower. It has a pool but despite sign in lobby sign saying pool opened 11am -8pm I witnessed the front desk clerk telling two excited little kids that the pool was not open until noon, despite it being about 11:10am. I could see the excitement ran out of their faces and we’re confused looking at the sign.. I thought that spoke poorly about the clerk.

Very clean and quiet.
