That being said, I chose this location specifically for that reason, and it was a lovely experience. The staff was polite and welcoming, very informed, very knowledgeable, and professional. I appreciate that they even went so far as to advise us of the weather conditions when checking out to ensure we had a pleasant experience. They owed us no such obligation and yet still took the time to mention it. Additionally, they had someone help us to our room in their antique elevator system, which was a teleporting experience to live. Loved it. They offered ice water and tea at the front as well to refresh yourself upon entry. The building itself is a treasure, and being in the center of Coral Gables was a massive bonus. The parking is extremely practical, however, we were visiting on 4th of July weekend, so perhaps that was why the parking was so simple. You have the option of a garage literally across the street, or readily available street parking. Yes, you must pay to park at both, so take your pick. The room was excellent, large, King sized indeed. We loved the French style windows that we opened and closed several times like kids under some whimsical spell. Everything looked, felt, and smelled clean. The bathroom was equally elegant, nothing large, but the goal is not to spend the trip in the bathroom. Air conditioning = perfect. Restaurants = on site.

Staff were excellent and ery accommodating. Front desk gentleman in 7/5/26 was very helpful with recommendations. Our front staff lady on 7/4/26 was also very kind and we were able to do an early check-in.

Will be staying here again next time I’m in Miami. One of the best stays I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Fantastic, charming hotel in a great location.
-
super clean rooms and friendly staff. I loved the area as well

Classic hotel in a great part of town.
-
Excellent staff, marvelous rooms, great parking, a historical building. Thank you so much nothing

Amazing location, fantastic personnel and since it is a smaller hotel you are given more personal attention. Nothing much

Parking restrictions abound on the streets around hotel. We used parking garage across the street which was privately owned Garage employees were helpful when paying at exit when credit card reader failed to open the gate to exit. Perhaps my fault by entering the card wrongfully. Personnel were quick to assist. Garage maintenance personnel deserve extra credit for their quick assist. Breakfast was elegant but expensive. The restaurant food and service were exceptional. This restaurant caters to the wealthy, not hotel guests, and has an Italian menu. European ambiance and menu items.

Excellent stay, the location was perfect and all staff were so kind and welcoming and went above and beyond to help.

The location was perfect - within easy walking distance of great restaurants and everything we wanted to explore. What truly made our stay special, however, was the outstanding staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit memorable. We would highly recommend St. Michel to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and relaxing stay. We can't wait to return!

Staff are excellent especially Daniel the manager who greeted us on check in and was readily available to help with any concerns or advice . Lovely quiet area with excellent restaurants and bars around the corner .

Wonderful boutique hotel and friendly, helpful staff. The 100 year old antique elevator is great. Comfortable bed and room plus great on-site Italian restaurant.
-
What a charming hotel! All 12 of us thought it was a great place to stay. Very clean, and perfect location for shopping and eating. Not your run of the mill hotel!
-
Great staff. Friendly and helpful people
-
Beautiful corner suite with all the old historic charm. Restaurant was a 10/10.
-
For breakfast was only coffee ir tea, not even a bisquet when all cafes around were closed at 8 am …
-
The room was just beautiful and so far from a typical hotel room that I felt like I was a treasured "grand dame!" I have wanted to stay in this BOUTIQUE HOTEL since I lived in Coral Gables in the mid 80s. Back then the restaurant and the side bar were very oh-La-La French inspired. IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT ( except the cute bar and the French restaurant are no longer part of the space. Zucca Coarl Gables, a high-end Italian restaurant, now occupies the spaces.
-
We will definitely stay there again. If I had to complain would be the outside noise.

Happy with our stay.
