We had a completely positive experience here. The room and all hotel areas were well maintained and clean. The location was right near the Corning Museum. It was also very quiet, no road noise. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice breakfast, which we paid for ahead of time with our booking. The food and service were also very good.

Overall, our stay was fine, but there were a few disappointing issues, especially considering the room cost around $300 per night. The room could have been cleaner upon arrival. There was hair left in the bathroom drain, no tissues stocked in the bathroom, and the mattress had a strange stain near the bedside table. The biggest issue, however, was the lighting. Our second floor room overlooked the exterior lights that illuminate the building. When we mentioned it to the front desk, we were told the blackout curtains should block the light. Unfortunately, there was still a noticeable ring of light around the edges of the curtains that illuminated the room and it made it difficult to sleep. I noticed other guests have mentioned this issue as well, so I hope the hotel considers addressing it. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the cleanliness and nighttime lighting could definitely be improved.

Loved the stay . Beautiful property and perfect location

This was a nice hotel in a great location to stay for our stop. The staff greeted us immediately and was helpful on the area. She tried to get us a room with a river view but since they were fully booked she couldn’t. The room overall was great but the view outside the window was of a box surrounding the a/c units on the roof since we faced the lobby side so that blocked any view. Hotel is in very close proximity to restaurants and shopping on the other side of the river and the Corning Museum of Glass.

We love this hotel! 4 years in a row for the Fourth of July weekend. The pool is great, ice cream, groceries and coffee all within walking distance.

Everyone was helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated help with luggage as I was recovering from a broken hip. I wish the restaurant’s menu for dinner was a little more extensive. I would like to have eaten there more evenings.
