The roadvertised as non-smoking) smelled mildly of cigarette smoke. The AC unit was quite noisy and didn’t do much to dehumidify the mid-August air.

You pay for the price but I would say it's worth it. Not fancy but it checks off the basic needs
-
Avoid unless you enjoy a slimy green pool, musty room, ac that does not work, out of date furnishings, and a general poor experience. Only good thing was parking was easy here.

The staff called me after I checked out to let me know that I had left a pair of glasses in the room (luckily they were cheap reading glasses from CVS). There were several restaurants and stores within walking distance.

Bathroom light over the mirror didn’t work. There was no plastic liner in the shower just the decorative fabric curtain so the bathroom floor was drenched. They provided a plastic container for the ice without tongs but it was placed in the bathroom of all places. The closet door was broken. Curtains in the room were dirty and stained. The carpet in the room could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. The vending machines in the facility did not work and there were no water fountains to be found. The only way you could get free drinking water was during the complementary breakfast between 6-9am.

The staff was kind and helpful. I was thankful for their help in the situation. The hotel was not what was it was thought to be. It was dingy, the room had a bad odor, it made me wheeze in 2 minutes. i had a asthma attack and knew we couldn't stay. The Wallpaper was peeling in room. the mirror closet door had a large crack. I could not stay. Staff was kind and cancelled my reservation with no charge. The hotel needs updating very badly. Staff was kind and very helpful.

Close to Corning Museum. Excellent for price.

The room itself was fine, if not a little cramped. The downfall was the terrible water pressure in the shower, the deplorable condition of the swimming pool, rust everywhere in the pool area, rusted out water fountains and particularly terrible, was the smell between the stairwell and the door to the outside area it was overwhelming. The staff was amicable, the food for breakfast was fine. But overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Honestly, this was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The towels were dirty, the bedsheets had a large black stain, and there were hairs on the walls and throughout the bathroom. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the staircase leading to our room smelled so bad that you had to cover your nose and mouth just to walk through it. The swimming pool was so filthy that we couldn’t even think about using it. In the end, the only thing we could do to get through the night was ask for clean bedsheets. At around 2:00 a.m., an elderly woman with a cane, messy hair, and barely able to walk—dragging her feet across the floor—came to our room carrying a large black garbage bag, which she was also struggling to drag. She seemed extremely upset, probably because she had been asked to come. Inside that foul-smelling black garbage bag were the “clean” replacement bedsheets, which unfortunately smelled bad as well. I genuinely had a terrible experience, and I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has received so many positive reviews.

Decent place for the cost. Very good staff. Ok breakfast.

It's a bit further from downtown, but still walkable, maybe 20 minutes. Was fine overall, nothing spectacular, but I'd consider staying again.

Breakfast was just okay, but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. Staff was excellent! Pool is tiny so don't come here for the pool. Good location. There was an overhead light that had no bulb in our room. We didn't bother to tell the staff since we were there for one night, but it shouldn't have been like that. Not enough TP or tissues in the room. They hadn't cleaned behind the tv stand and there was a lot of trash back there. Fridge is miniscule so you cannot fit much of anything in it.

A comfortable and modest hotel, perfectly located for exploring Corning attractions and a hearty breakfast to start off the day. Great value for the money.
