The room had a stale smell, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and made a lot of noise anytime I moved. It was uncomfortable enough that I ultimately decided not to stay the final night, even though that meant losing the money I had already paid. Breakfast was included, which is always appreciated, but the selection was very limited during my stay which mostly toast, eggs, and sausage patties. I’ve stayed at several Marriott properties and generally have had good experiences, so this stay was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this particular property did not meet the standard I’ve come to expect from Marriott.

We arrived at approximately 2:30 PM with two rooms booked. At check-in, we were provided keys to only one room and were told that the second room was not ready. What was particularly frustrating was seeing other guests who arrived after us being checked in and given room keys. We returned to the front desk around 5:30 PM, and by that time the line extended out the door. Our second room still was not ready. We had to explain to the front desk that the situation was unacceptable, particularly after already waiting several hours. We are Marriott Bonvoy members, and we expected a much better level of service. We were eventually given a room on a different floor. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. After being in the room for approximately two hours, we discovered that the bathtub was visibly dirty and had not been properly cleaned. This is especially concerning because cleanliness should be a basic expectation when checking into a hotel room. The condition of the pool area was also unacceptable. The towel receptacle was completely overflowing, with dirty towels hanging out of the bin. In addition, the ground underneath and around the tables was covered with debris.

It is an ok property, needs upgrades, beds and specially the bathrooms.

The property is dated and could use some updating. Change the carpet, paint the walls, etc. The walls are thin. It’s an average hotel stay.

Front staff saw that I had mobility issues and proceeded to assign me to a room farthest from the elevator. The room didn’t match the fed telling on the website. Just a lot of little things. I wnt recommend this motel
