This place is a good value. The room was very clean, stylish, and quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were two things that were inconvenient - 1) the rolling shower door wouldn't stay closed so we had to stuff a washcloth in the mechanism to keep it from rolling open and 2) there was no soap dish in the shower, only wall-mounted body wash. I can't use body wash due to allergies, so I had to put my soap bar on the floor and stoop down every time I needed it. I am 60 and this is the first hotel I've ever stayed in where I couldn't figure out where to put my soap! But other than that the hotel worked great for us. The location is perfect for exploring downtown.

Well done renovated hotel with a great complimentary breakfast and coffee. Quiet rooms and comfy bed.

No nonsense comfy room with space to store my bike

Super fun hotel! All of the conveniences of the big chains, but a million times more charm.
-
Cute clean property continently located

Would prefer to have a refrigerator in the room, & access to w microwave, but overall clean & quiet!

I would call it a motel vs hotel but otherwise love the retro vibe, love the vicinity to both downtown and OSU! If my child ends up at OSU, this would be my go-to for visits…but the rooms need a fridge!!

Not enough parking for the hotel, so this hotel doesn’t really have parking even though it is advertised. Please be advised it is “if available” parking. There was at least one man yelling at people and exposing himself to hotel guests. We were with my daughter and her friend, aged 12, so that wasn’t great. Location near the campus was nice.

We got in late and had an easy check in. Our room was clean and cute, yet the noise through the walls wasn’t good so I heard someone’s tv or music late into the night. And in the morning, the staff’s cleaning cart was loud outside our door, even with us already waking us early. Our curtain rod needed maintenance; we tried closing the curtain and the whole bar fell down completely. If we wanted to move the curtain at all, the entire thing would fall on us. Luckily, my daughter and I were able to get it back up each time. I was worried we wouldn’t have anything blocking the view of people walking by all night because it was precarious getting it back up each time. Matt was so positive and easy to talk to as he made us coffee in the cute trailer. He is a definite bonus to the hotel!

Always love our stays here.

A classic motor lodge with updated amenities. Location is great to walk around downtown Corvallis. Staff is very helpful, new coffee & snack shack with outdoor seating is fun. Still use room keys for which a handy key hanger & shelf is right inside the door.

The rooms are much nicer than the eclectic exterior would lead you to believe. Extremely clean, comfortable bed and bedding, wonderful body wash & lotion, and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Our room was situated next to the dumpster which was a little unsightly and we were awakened at 6AM by the trash truck one morning. However, the hotel location is great, just blocks from downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants. Also be sure to visit the farmer’s market if you’re there on a Saturday morning.

Location to be able to walk downtown. No refrigerator

Interesting place. If you prefer to read in your room vs. Tv, bring your own lamp.

The vibe was amazing! Super friendly staff. The rooms were modern and accommodated our family very well. The pac-man machine in the lobby and the pop-shop outside serving coffee added to the relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic location. Comfy beds. Super clean and tidy. Walking distance to Oregon State. Close to everything downtown. Friendly staff. We had 2 rooms- one family suite 2 king with bunks and a kitchenette and one king with bunks for our large party- both rooms were fantastic!

Spacious comfortable rooms, quality toiletries and very nice roomy glass shower. Very clean, quality bedding with bed tray and slippers in room. No fridge or microwave. The area felt maybe just a little bit seedier than the area just 1-2 blocks away. Certainly not the fault of the hotel, and we never felt unsafe. Hotel feels very true to itself, definitely not a chain. Certificates for free coffee from the coffee truck on property were an added perk. Will absolutely stay there again if our daughter decides to attend OSU!

Everything was good except that you can't really open the curtains for natural light without totally exposing your room completely. In other hotels you have a sheer curtain to allow for the natural light. That is honestly the only thing that I wish had been different. The place is really clean, well decorated and safe. Staff is super nice. The breakfast treats where just a cup of coffee- so that isn't so impressive as an amenity. But you are walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the university - location is perfect.
